Current bra size varies from AA to sometimes even B so I'll just say A cup. Band size is 32 or 34 (I dont really wear bras but all the ones I have say either 32 or 34.
I'm getting my surgery in like 4 or 5 days.
I chose transaxillsary incision through the armpit.
I saw two surgeons before making my choice. The one I ended up going with actually helped train/mentor the other so naturally I went with the teacher/more experience. I also preferred his bedside manner as he was patient and answered my millions of questions.
I initially wanted saline but the surgeon I did not end up going with insisted I choose silicone because he said that the wrippling was pretty obvious from the side view in patients with little breast tissue. After looking over photos again, this time from the side, I immediately noticed he was right. Also people complained about how much harder they felt than silicone so within the same day I pretty much switched over to silicone. I knew I wanted Mentor brand from the start because the recall associated with Allergan freaked me out (even though I believe those were textured). After the very first consult I knew 250cc would be the perfect size. Then later when I discovered breast width diameter and implant profiles I did a lot of back and forth and I cannot even begin to tell you how stressed/confused/indecisive I was. I must have easily looked at over a couple hundred before and after pictures. I went from thinking maybe 250 is too small to maybe 275 then 300 and then lastly 325 high profile. After a few weeks of this I thought about it and realized my initial decision was best. I never really liked large breasts and I would never be able to hide them if they were too big. If they were a modest or even smaller size then I could be able to just play them up with a type of bra. I also did the rice test at home but that was honestly aiding my decision to go up. I kept feeling more and more comfortable the higher I went up and got used to it. Then I took a step back and was like "wait, do I really want my breasts to be big and fake or did I want natural breasts?" I had to remind myself of what I truly wanted. After the second consultation and trying the sizers again and discussing the whole breast width thing, I ended up sticking with the 250ccs and I slept like a baby that night lol. The surgeon initially recommended to go moderate profile for the most natural look but after looking at pictures of moderate profile vs moderate plus I felt that the MP was a little more appealing and youthful. Also we agreed that now that I chose 250cc the moderate profile would not properly fit my bwd anyways. The 250cc mod plus has a diameter of 11.3 so that would be good for a 12.5 bwd. I'm a little nervous, a little excited, a little worried. Anyways, I bought some bras for post op, got my medicine, did my covid test, and blood tests. I also quit smoking on September 1st. I think I'm good to go. I just wanted to share since this site helped me so much. I'll keep you guys updated. Bye for now :)

Just got back from surgery!!!

So I just got back from surgery and holy shit I hardly have any pain. I have this pain pump that automatically pumps out numbing medication to the site and they gave me one percocet at the hospital because they said it's better to stay on top of the pain, rather than wait for it to hurt. I'm just in shock how quick and relatively painless the whole thing was. I wonder if it's cuz it has to do with the smaller size too. So I wasn't sure how i was going to break it to my dad but he didn't even notice so me and my mom were like, well f it, let's not even tell him lol. So far I'm so happy. I truly found the best doctor and the nurses and anesthesiologist were so kind. It was a really positive experience. I go in tomorrow for a check up. Hope my journey helps someone else out there :)

Picture right after surgery :D

Today I literally thought for the first time ever, "I can't wait to go shopping." The pain is totally tolerable and I can use my arms fine. It's not debilitating like I thought it would be. I can get up and sit up and open bottle caps (that one is probably the least fun to do though lol so I left them all open). I just can't believe this right now, every time I look down I get a big smile on my face. Also I poked the implant to see what it feels like; it's squishy and nice :P Wish I had more people to tell about this lol

Just like me. I want a natural look. I can’t wait how my mine would look. Gotta be patient... thanks so much, it’s really helping me feel good about.
