2 months post op!

I am 2 months post and haven’t noticed any changes from week 6 to week 8. Everything settled and softened up at around week 7. Both breasts feel soft to touch and I don’t see any differences in them, in the beginning stages left was a lot harder and tighter. Sometimes I would feel to odd pain under the boob where the scar tissue is at, that will be either from bra pushing against it, or when I need to reach up to something very high! I went swimming for the first time last weekend and it was a really odd feeling, the upper body muscles pushing implants out as I do breast stroke, I didn’t enjoy it at all. I haven’t done gym for almost 2 weeks now as I had covid ! But last time I went I was feeling fully back to myself and wasn’t restricting my workout; then again I am not doing upper body yet and probably won’t for another month or so! I’m definitely more aware of right scar more than left because of the previous Breast lift scar, and left side had full anchor lift while the right side only had lollipop so this time around I have only 1 fresh scar and i feel it more because nerves on the other side have been previously disrupted and scars never feel as painful if they been cut twice! I believe even second time BA Wouldn’t hurt as much as first time! I can see small changes in drop and fluff process comparing the pics from previous weeks, breasts look rounder and gap between them smaller. All in all I’m really happy I did this, I no longer feel they are too big for me, this could be down to swelling disappearing and also boobs softening up and feeling more part of my body. No regrets at all! :)

6 weeks post op!

If anyone mentioned ‘ drop and fluff’ to me few months ago I wouldn’t have a clue what they are taking about ! Now it seems like a second language. The biggest changes I have noticed so far have been from week 4-6. The swelling and unnatural upper pole appearance have disappeared, they are definitely smaller but also more rounder and nicer shape! Thank god for this site where I was able to see what changes this whole process will go through, if I hadn’t I would have been very upset the moment I took the bandages off and saw those very weird shaped boobs for the first time ! Not only I was in world of pain but also I hated what I was seeing so my thoughts where pretty much, what the f*^* did I do! Now looooong 6 weeks later things are looking so much better! I’m definitely happier! I had no boob greed so loosing volume hasn’t upset me at all, I was hoping they would as I was feeling abit top heavy for a while. They feel soft to touch and ‘behave’ much more like natural boobs.

I have no pain anymore and the only time I did was from nipple sensation and I had some strange under the rib pain for about a week and ribs felt tender to touch. My scars are nice and healed and I will be starting to apply essential oils 2x a day. When I had breast lift alone I tried different treatments for the scars, silicone sheets and serum too but found it less effective and silicone sheets gave me rash cos I live in Asia and it’s very humid here all year around ! I find essential oils very good, you can either get them here mixed or buy them separately and then mix them up with the correct ratio ! Helichrysum, Frankincense, Calendula are of the most powerful ones for the scar healing and they are natural. I have attached the photo of the ones I will be trying out, one is for fresh scar healing and other one for older scars !

I still sleep in compression bra at night and wear it at home too when Im not out! Still a bit lost in bra apartment, i usually wear underwire bras and push up. Both aren’t allowed yet so I’m trying different style. I was estimating 1 size increase since my implant is only 250cc but I don’t know yet if I’m right. I read somewhere 150 is 1 bra size so I might be bigger than 1 size up. One doctor on the forum here said that CC’s isn’t the only thing contributing to size changes, it will be your muscle size and under-bust measurements that will play part too, for women who are 30 and 32 under-bust, 150-200cc will mean 2 bra sizes up while 34 and above will be 1 bra size!

5 weeks post op!

5 weeks post op and I feel almost back to my usual self! I have started going back to gym (only lower body exercises), and it feels good, no issues even when lifting bar or weights. I definitely feel a difference between week 4 and week 5 in terms of pain n discomfort! At 4 weeks I could still get days when one side would feel tight and uncomfortable, but I don’t feel that anymore! I don’t wear my strap/band anymore. Only when I’m sleeping ! Can comfortably sleep on my sides too now but still
Prefer sleeping on my back. Nips are quite sensitive and I have been applying oil n cream on them for some comfort!
I don’t feel a big difference in drop and fluff from week 4 and 5 but I can see it in the photos. Implants are definitely filling up the lower part of the Breasts pushing nipples higher as they are peeking through my bras and bikini top! Obviously they are too small to wear now but I have kept them for comparison! I don’t fit in any of my old bras, only the non padded, sheer type or the ones that where slightly bigger for me before. Push-up padded ones are a no-go and feels very tight and uncomfortable! I ordered a new bra, which is cup C and they seem too small for now. Again this will depend on the manufacturer and style as they can vary in sizes! For the last 2 weeks I have been measuring the same and no changes in size. However trying on the old bras and bikini made it clear to me why doctors on here don’t suggest any new bra purchases too early on, dropping will make lower part of the breast bigger and it will change how bra looks and feels on you so I still want to wait longer before I get nice new lingerie.
Week 5 and I definitely feel that they are so much softer and squishier. They feel like my own and all that upper bulkiness is disappearing! Phew. I think most of the swelling is gone by now and they feel more natural than ever. I must admit that I very much agree on the line I read here from one of the doctors! If you hate them at 5 days, u will like them at 5 weeks and love them at 5 months ! Or if you love them at 5 days then u will not love them at 5 weeks and 5 months ! I certainly hated them at 5 days but I like them now! Not only swelling goes down but all that boxiness and weird shape and hardness goes away and once that happens they feel like part of you!
I am very fortunate that I trusted my doctor to pick the size and style of implant for me and I had no idea about CC’s and therefore I was never having a dilemma of different sizes or profile or shape etc. i went for the consultation and told my surgeon I want to go bigger (NOT BIG) and just fill out the lost volume. I tried some of the sizers and they all felt weird and too big and he reassured me that it won’t be too big for me! I think communication between you and your doctor is so imperative, he needs to listen to you and understand the results you are wanting but at the same time you have to trust his professional view and opinion! 250cc on different body type would be small but it feels just right for me! I still feel they might change in size a little bit but only because I have seen 6 months and 1 year reviews and some women have reported that they do feel smaller at 1 year compare to 6 months. I wouldn’t feel too upset to lose some volume as I feel a bit big in some of the clothes and tops and sometimes feel like hiding them ! Also wearing the bra adds a bit of volume and they look somehow bulkier, from the endless research I have done, going braless should be minimal if you want to have long lasting effects of the surgery!
