How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Surgery cancelled
Like the title says. For one, the pictures in my last update were wish pictures, so stop yelling at me. For two, my surgery is cancelled because i have « tuberous breasts » and what i was quoted was not what would need to be done so they tried to charge me $10,000 two weeks before surgery. Mad, upset, annoyed.
23, 165 Lbs, a Cup Looking Forward to Having New Girls!
Hi there, I started my breast augmentation journey at age 20, however it's taken me until now to be able to afford surgery and find a doctor that I liked. I decided to go with Dr. Chuma Chike-Obi at Westlake Dermatology here in Austin after seeing some of his results online. I'm barely an A cup, and I want to be a D cup to better balance out my hips and give me a full hourglass figure.
I am transgender, so I had to wait quite some time to grow the breast tissue necessary for this procedure as well, and now five years into hormone replacement therapy, I think i'm in a great position. In a push up bra with a sports bra over it, I can use inserts to create some pretty dramatic results.
I've had one consultation with a different surgeon where I tried on implants, and we decided on around 450 for each breast, silicone, under the muscle. I remember that size looking the best on me, however my pre-op appointment with Dr. Chike-Obi is actually next week, so i'm going to try on the implants and see what size he recommends for me. I do want a large result, and being trans I have wider shoulders that i'm trying to balance out.
I scheduled this surgery in July of 2019, and I have been making payments on it ever since. I fully paid off the surgical procedure itself in January, and I now have the payment needed for anesthesia saved up to be paid on the day of my pre-op appointment.
Everybody at westlake dermatology has been nothing but kind to me and they have been accommodating in every way. Dr Chike-Obi actually asked to reschedule my surgery as he is going on vacation in April, and wanted to make sure that he's in town long enough to provide the absolute best possible care for me. It was a shock to have to change my surgery date, but it was a blessing in disguise as it was a full two weeks sooner than anticipated!
Leading up to surgery now I'm very excited, but i'm also nervous as I've never had any surgeries before. Attached are a few wish pictures so you can see generally what I'm going for! Will update periodically, likely weekly going forward.
