1 Month Update! 34AA to 34D!

Its been a while since my last update, but I have to say I have been SO happy with how my healing process has gone! Ive had no pain, and I'm feeling fantastic. I had the most changes happen during week 4 after surgery. Ive noticed that my boobs are getting so much softer and I my cleavage gap is closing. I can even push my boobs together for cleavage in a push up bra but i've been most comfortable wearing lightly lined or sports bras. In clothing my size seems very proportional and I love it! I can definitely show off in clothes that have a tighter fit.

Ive been cleared to exercise, just no push ups or pull ups. I went bra shopping and had so much fun in Victoria Secret. I went from a 34AA to a 34D. SO EXCITING! Being able to fill a D cup was a dream of mine and now its reality :)

I think my next update will be at the 2 or 3 month mark. I guess my next challenge is to start fading these scars. Im using silicone scar strips that my surgeon gave me but are there any other tips or suggestions for fading scars more quickly?

1.5 Weeks PO Updates

I thought I’d share some updates with my recovery after making it thorough 1 week! I stopped taking all my pain meds on day 3 po. I really wasn’t feeling too much pain after surgery, I was just very uncomfortable. I’ve pretty much just slept through the first week since I wasn’t able to really do anything. I was able to walk around quite a bit, I would just get out of breath extremely fast and have to sit down for a while. I also think anesthesia and the meds messed with my taste buds a bit because my taste seemed very off (it’s back to normal now though). Did this happen to anyone else? Day by day, I noticed my boobs were getting slightly softer with massaging which is very exciting! In the area right below my nipples I’ve lost a bit of feeling but I think it’s slowly coming back. My nipples also got super sensitive day 4 po, they have kinda been bouncing around between being super sensitive and normal throughout the day. Day 8 po is the first time I tried to drive after surgery. It was really uncomfortable to turn the steering wheel and my arms felt really sore after about a 15-20 minute drive. It wasn’t too horrible but it’s definitely going to take some getting used to again. I also have a pretty nice range of motion in my arms now and I’m able to use my arms to get out of bed again. I can’t put too much weight on my arms but I feel a lot stronger now. I can’t really think of anything else to update on but I feel fantastic and I’m really excited to continue my journey and see the changes! Let me know if there are any questions! :)

Surgery Day + Day 1 and 2 Post Op

So my surgery day finally came! On Wednesday I went in to the surgery center around 9AM. The staff was so friendly, I definitely felt at ease. I didnt feel nervous at all, just excited and anxious. I changed into my robe after signing some paperwork, gave the nurse a urine sample and she laid me down in a bed where she set up my IV and hooked me up to some machines. The anesthesiologist also came in to introduce himself. From there my surgeon came to mark me up and roll me into the operating room! This whole process probably only took 20 minutes.
Once i was in the operating room my surgeon was talking to me about Disneyland and in what seemed like 2 seconds, I was OUT and being put in the car to go home. I was so surprised by how fast everything felt. I was super out of it but once I got home I started to feel a lot of pain and pressure. Probably an 8/10. Once I was able to take my meds, I felt so much better and pretty much slept the rest of the day. I had no nausea. The rest of the night, I just felt pressure and the surgery center and my surgeon called to check up on me.
Day 1/Day 2 PostOp
I felt really good. I was able to walk around and take a shower by myself. I did notice that I started to feel some soreness on my sides, which is very normal. I just made sure to ice every once in a while and I was directed to start doing my massages. My chest feels very very tight but it is starting to get softer with massaging. So far think i'm handling things a lot better than I thought I would. Sleeping on my back also isn't that bad since I tried to train myself to go on my back a few weeks before I had surgery.
Now let the dropping and fluffing come in!
