Breast Augmentation- 205cc & 265cc Motiva round, moderate profile, Sub-pectoral

49 days post op:
Hello! I'm going to be sharing my experience getting a breast augmentation and also reviewing my experience with Dr Natalie Ngan, my surgeon.
So far I am very happy with the results! I have had ups and downs throughout the process, mostly within the first 3 weeks. Sometimes feeling unsure if I made the right decision about sizing, and small concerns about aesthetics but as my breasts have continued to heal and I can now see them settling I have become more and more satisfied. I'm loving my new found confidence and I am very impressed by Natalie's work!

Below I have added a more in depth review of my experience so far:

Children: 1 child, 7 years postpartum
Weight: 51-52kg
Height: 168cm
Pre-op breast size: Flat, little to no breast tissue. Barely fitting into AA.
Other: rib cage/cartilage asymmetry, mild scoliosis
Desired outcome: modest cup size, proportionate, Full B- C cup.

Breast Augmentation Surgery

Pre surgery- Consult 1:
Dr Natalie was extremely professional, and handled the conversations around the surgery with care. At no point did I feel like she was marketing or selling a product, she was educating me thoughtfully. I left with an understanding of both the pros and cons of going through with plastic surgery/this surgery, and was able to make a well informed decision outside of just my excitement for the results.
I struggled to feel confident around sizing. We spoke about my goals, and she recommended two sizes: 250/200 & 280/230.
After using inserts I still felt undecided. She reassured me that we will find the size I'm most confident with prior to surgery.
Post appointment I had some anxiety around my case, due to my features- I was very flat chested with loose skin, some breast asymmetry and visible chest wall asymmetry. Despite her confidence around taking on my case, she made me aware of the potential aesthetic outcomes that could be impacted due to those features.

Pre surgery- Consult 2:
I was confident I wanted to go ahead with the surgery, so this appointment was focused more on finalising sizing, information around surgery and costs involved.
I still felt unsure with the sizes I had initially tried, Dr Natalie suggestion a size that fell in between the two initial sizing recommendations. I felt more confident with those.
Left breast 205cc, Right breast 265cc.
I was quite nervous about the difference in sizing. She reassured me that she will aim for the best results and handle with care.

Surgery:
The process went far smoother than anticipated, went very quickly and I had no concerns around the care I received from Dr Ngan or the hospital. Good experience overall!

Post surgery- consults 1&2:
Consult 1- 16 days post op, I had some questions and concerns around my experience so far, and was looking for some information and reassurance about it. One breast had dropped a lot more than the other, and the higher implant had some strange lumps around the side.
I felt the first post-op consult was rushed. It took maybe 15 minutes and there was no physical examination. I did not feel my questions or concerns were heard properly and I felt dismissed.
Dr Natalie had a kind demeanour, but seemed busy and not present. She looked at my breasts, took footage of my scars, answered a question or two briefly then left.
I felt pretty disappointed and uneasy about my recovery.

Consult 2- 44 days post op, my experience was much better!
The questions I had were answered thoroughly and I received reassurance. Dr Natalie seemed a lot more present and helpful. I was very happy with this consult and left feeling confident in my recovery.
