I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Richards and his staff from consultation to post-op check-in’s! I was nervous at first because I didn’t know what procedure was right for me but I knew what I wanted the outcome to be. I set up a consultation and Joanne walked me through the options. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and didn’t want without pressure to choose a certain procedure. Dr. Richards advised on the procedure that would be best for the outcomes I wanted, answered all my questions, and I felt confident in his capabilities! For the pre-op appointment, I got to review surgery day plans and they covered everything in detail and made sure I was confident in my decision. Surgery day was a breeze! The operating staff and Anesthesiologist told me exactly what I should expect and helped ease my anxiety. They coordinated well with my sister who was picking me up after surgery and gave clear instructions for the day or two post-op. I had Dr. Richard’s phone number to reach out to if I had any questions or concerns after the operation and he even followed up with me the day after to check in on how I was doing. Shaila was the best nurse and point of contact! She answered dozens of questions in the weeks following surgery and never made me feel like it was a burden. I can’t recommend Dr. Richards and his staff enough! The knowledge, care, and attention given to me throughout the process was everything I needed as a first time patient.
