10+ Year Returning Happy Patient!

WORTH IT
I am exactly 5 weeks post-op after upgrading to Motiva implants and adding an internal bra, and I am absolutely loving my results.

Dr. Eugene Kim performed my original breast augmentation over 10 years ago, so when I decided I wanted a revision and larger implants, there was really no question about who I would choose. The fact that so many of his patients return to him years later says a lot about the quality of his work and the trust he builds with his patients.

I know online reviews can have a huge impact on decision-making, which is why I wanted to share my experience as a repeat patient. In my opinion, reviews are helpful, but there is no substitute for meeting a surgeon in person, reviewing their before-and-after photos, discussing your goals, and getting a feel for their communication style and approach.

What has always stood out to me about Dr. Kim is that he is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also a genuinely kind, humble, and ethical person. He takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and never makes you feel rushed. I've had consultations with other Beverly Hills plastic surgeons over the years for different procedures, and many of those consultations felt intimidating, impersonal, or rushed. My experience with Dr. Kim has always been the opposite.

He listens carefully to what you want while also being honest about what is realistic and what your body can safely accommodate. I never felt pressured into making decisions, and I always felt like my concerns were taken seriously.

Another thing I appreciate is his accessibility. Even years after my original surgery, he has remained responsive and willing to answer questions. That level of patient care is something that should not be taken for granted.

Of course, no surgeon can guarantee perfect results or guarantee that complications will never happen. Every surgery carries risks, and every person's body heals differently. That's simply part of undergoing any medical procedure. It's important for prospective patients to understand that and to do their own research before moving forward.

Personally, I have had implants for more than a decade and have not experienced issues such as breast implant illness. I was also able to breastfeed without any problems. Everyone's experience is different, but I wanted to share mine because I know many women worry about these topics while researching.

As for recovery, my biggest piece of advice is to be patient. Just because you feel good doesn't mean your body is fully healed. Follow your post-op instructions closely and continue taking recovery seriously even after you're cleared to resume normal activities. In my experience, months two and three are just as important as the first few weeks.

If you're considering breast augmentation or a revision and feel overwhelmed by conflicting reviews online, I would encourage you to meet with surgeons personally and make your decision based on your own consultation experience. For me, choosing Dr. Kim a second time after more than 10 years was an easy decision, and I couldn't be happier with my results so far.

I'm excited to continue healing and see my final results over the coming months, but at 5 weeks post-op, I can already say that choosing Dr. Kim again was absolutely the right decision.
