Dr. Parikh is HANDS DOWN the best surgeon I've ever encountered. He performed a breast augmentation and a labiaplasty on me. As you can imagine, these are two very personal procedures for a woman to endure. Elective and cosmetic, absolutely! It took a lot of guts to pull the trigger and actually move forward with getting them done though. During the consultation process, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place, despite the somewhat awkward circumstance. I did these procedures at two separate times and couldn't be happier with each individual outcome! The breast augmentation was done under general anesthesia and at their neighboring outpatient surgical facility. I did 400 CC round saline implants (I typically scar pretty poorly so I wanted the smallest incision possible), with my incision being IMF (under the breast). I'm 5'3 and weigh 130 LBS starting with Ana A cup size. They ended up being a D cup size on me post swelling/recovery which is exactly what I wanted! I got this procedure done on a Wednesday and was back to work on Monday! I was working out again 6 weeks later. The labiaplasty was done under local anesthetic and I didn't feel a thing. I didn't even feel the injections, because they put numbing topical cream on prior to starting the injections. The whole thing only took about an hour and I was able to listen to music and play on my phone while they had a sterile screen dividing me from the procedure. I'm usually a big chicken with anything like this, but I was surprisingly calm and had the best experience possible. I had this procedure done on a Friday and was back to work on Monday. I was even back doing my normal exercise routine within one week of surgery! Both procedures used absorbable sutures so there was no uncomfortable suture removal following. The pricing was also very competitive with all neighboring practices! The staff at AFB Plastic Surgery are among the most professional, warm hearted, and bubbly medical professionals- ever! Especially their nurse Kristina and Surgical Technician Julie. I can't get enough of them and could talk with those sweet souls all day if I had the opportunity to. I would recommend Dr. Parikh and AFB plastic surgery to anybody looking to change their lives and appearance in a positive/natural way. Dr. Parikh's bedside manner and follow up care is impeccable. He even gives you his personal cell phone number so that he's accessible if you need anything at all or have any questions! They also have a 24 hour live answering service in case you should need anything at anytime following the procedure. They prescribe all the appropriate medications and the pain control is well monitored. I feel like I can talk to any/all of their staff members and my questions were never left unanswered. They were all equally knowledgeable which was a huge relief when calling in. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Parikh is very much a realist and explains all the ins and outs. He outlines the reward VS risk factor and makes sure that you have realistic expectations. He also makes sure you're well educated in your procedure prior to moving forward with it. Surgery is a big deal and he genuinely has everyone's best interest at heart. I don't think he would ever recommend a procedure to somebody that doesn't need it, just to make a quick buck. That's not what he's about. My results are BEYOND amazing. Nobody can tell that I've had anything done, sarring is so minimal that you can't identify where it is even, and I have zero negative side effects. The best way I can describe it is an enhanced version of myself and what I already had! It's just so natural; even when I'm in a bikini. I definitely wasn't going for that round bodacious look.. I told him ahead of time I didn't want it to be obvious that I had my breast done. I can honestly say I wouldn't change a single thing about the outcomes of my procedures. I've seen so many bad results scattered all over the web that I feel SO incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with Dr. Parikh and have the experience that I had. I did tons of research before making my decision to choose him, and he is by far the most qualified in the state of WA, if not the whole nation. I will forever be a patient of Dr. Parikh's, even if I move out of state and have to travel across the nation to see him. I've already referred MANY of my friends and family his way and every single one has been ecstatic with their results. Whether it's an arm lift, thigh lift, liposuction, tummy tuck, breast ANYTHING (revision, lift, reduction, augmentation..), eyelid lift, rhinoplasty, lip augmentation/reduction, or even something as simple as Fillers and Botox (which he does for me as well by the way!!) the list goes on and on! They've all loved their results. I have yet to hear a negative comment about him or his work. If you go into the office for a consultation you can ask him to show you my before and after photos and you'll see for yourself how great everything turned out. He's only going to get better as the years go on and I can't thank him enough for all he's done to change my life! I'm truly indebted to him and this review doesn't even begin to scrape the surface of how thankful I am! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!! I have the confidence to feel beautiful now at all times.
