Skinny Thin BBL Power BBL

Skinny Thin BBL Power BBL

Anon47473
I am 33, no kids (good skin), 5'1", and about 115lbs and I am scheduled for a BBL with Anthony Perkins tomorrow at Elite Body Sculpture. They will be removing fat from my abdomen, flanks, and a small portion of my upper arm. This is costing me a pretty penny, 12K. They are using newer instruments to remove the fact so this is the price difference and...cause it's NYC.

To make a long story short the communication hasn't been that great. Their staff is super nice but very busy, and when I asked further questions it took a long time for an answer and the doctor was not thrilled to entertain my curiosities and concerns. So I cancelled and spoke to one of their other doctors (I wanted to stick with the same office because of the technology they use for liposuction-it's on their website) and he was thorough although couldn't really reassure me that I was going to get the volume I desired (see wish pics). After listening to the doctor and the assistant I decided that indeed I probably wasn't going to fully achieve all the volume I am hoping for, however I could look forward to a significant improvement. What that means, I do not know. They said they didn't want to promise anything because everyone's bodies absorbs fat differently. They explained that there are lots of factors but even if they removed all the fat possible and reinjected the fat, the survival rate of the fat will vary from person to person. With all the unknowns I still decided to opt for this surgery because it's either this or implants or fillers. Fillers I've tried and I am allergic, they get reabsorbed after 1 year, that part freaks me out a bit, and it's very very expensive if you use high-end, "safe" fillers. Implants will have to be removed at some point in your life, then what? Saggy butt? And the worst part, there's a risk of it dislocating.

I will be very very very disappointed if after 12K and all the work and time I put into researching this and waiting for the right time and doctor I see little to no results. I will be pissed to say the least.

I intend to take extra care of my new body during the recovery stage. I've read how some people can't stand the garment, how much it hurts and can cut you and take it off and/or they sit on it and are not happy with their results. I also read from one doctor on here that sitting on it doesn't matter etc but I am not taking those chances after 12K of cosmetic surgery! This is a lot of money to spend and I don't have a lot of fat as it is to go messing around.

My current picks are uploaded. I am having my fat reinjected to my hips and butt for more volume. I am also hoping to get more of a lift as I feel it is quite low.

I did it

My procedure lasted about 3 hours. Although I was awake the whole time I can't remember half the procedure cause I got amnesia from the laughing gas and xanax I was given (not real amnesia just kidding). I don't remember being super freezing like lots of people say they feel after surgery. I was able to walk, and I even went to eat (standing up of course).

The ride home was about 2 hours and I put the passenger seat all the way down. Again don't remember much of the ride cause I was on medication.

Overall, Dr. Perkins and the nurses/assistants helping him were very nice and even put on music I liked. It felt like a party and at first I thought that it was very relaxed for a surgical environment but after the laughing gas I was singing. At one point I think the doctor asked me to stop talking and moving cause I was having to much fun. Overall he was very professional even with the music on and he was very concentrated and after seeing how they work (cause I was awake this time) I can see it was hard work and I appreciate all they did for me.

As for the results, we will have to wait and see how I look as time goes by. Although I didn't have a lot of fat, they managed to inject 400cc (ml) into each cheek, and 200cc (ml) in each hip. YAY. I am being super careful not to put any pressure on my reinfected areas. I sleep on my stomach and it's fine but my lower back hurts when I do that. I don't know if its just because of the mattress or if it's my kidneys working overtime.

I am very sore but I threw up my pain meds so I am not taking them now. I don't do well with pain and if this is bearable then I am sure it's not that bad for most people.

If that's you in the before and after pics, I'd be thrilled. You look great. It is a "significant difference." I hope you don't lose the volume after time

Thanks Jenaka. I just have to remember that there's a lot of swelling now. And it does take time to see how little or how much fat will be reabsorbed by my body. If I can keep 75% of this I would be very happy.

3 days POST OP

I am still swollen of course. I read online that you should start lymphatic drainage messages within 24 hours after surgery. I was not told this by the nurse at Elite which seems like normal post op care info which I still have no paperwork of for some reason (I did ask-and find it strange that I even should have to ask for copies). However, my health is my responsibility so I did not wait for them to tell me. I started lymphatic drainage massages last night. My mom and I got on youtube and she is trying to do them herself. Lymphatic drainage massages are very very gentle and do not hurt at all, but they help your skin drain the liquid through your lymphatic system. You can google it as it is very helpful to learn these things. I do not remember the website or youtube, but there's a ton on there so have a look yourself.

I woke up feeling better as far as stiffness. My neck gets pretty stiff from laying on my stomach so I have to switch my head from left to right from time to time at night. I have not been able to sleep through the night, but it's what I got to do for the next few weeks because I can't put pressure on my new butt. With all the money spent I can't imagine ruining it for a full nights rest.

I ordered a size small garment in thong style. It has 3 levels of hook and a zipper and it is arriving in 2 more days (this Friday). I think I really need it because my garment is a little loose on me, size medium, and it cut with scissors around the but and hips leaving the crotch and lower abdomen loose which I had liposuctioned. That's can't be good.

I haven't showered even though they say I can. My incisions are still a bit deep so I don't want to get any water near them. I have just been using adult XL wipes to clean myself. I use a tinkle bell brand female urinal device to pee. I have to take off my garment to go #2. I had my first bowel movement yesterday afternoon. Haven't gone again yet. Once I get the new garment I won't have to take it off since the thong crotch-part detaches.

I have been eating normal amounts of food. I haven't lost my appetite. I am a vegetarian but today I had tuna that my mom made me. Other than that she knows I won't eat any other type of meat. So it's really all the meat I have had since years. I just finished some papaya slices. Yesterday after eating fruit I had a bowel movement so hopefully this papaya will do the trick.

I am taking my antibiotics, not much pain meds because I throw them up and because the pain is tolerable. I am also taking arnica tablets to help reduce the bruises which are mainly on my arm. I have none on the rest of my body surprisingly--oh wait I have a little bit in my inner thigh. I only had my full abdomen and upper arms liposuctioned so the inner thigh bruising just must be coming from other areas of my body.

I will update with pics once I decide to take a real shower which maybe tomorrow.
