Skinny BBL, Lipo and Bodytite/Facetite

WORTH IT
Hi. I am 10 days post op from my BBL procedure with Dr. Zelken in Newport Beach. I have had (and will be having) a ton of procedures. This focuses on my bbl/lipo and Bodytite (which is a skin tightening procedure I had post lipo.) I am 5'3" and was 119 lbs the day of surgery. I let myself gain about 9 pounds for the procedure which was perfect because it gave me just enough fat to have a decent transfer -- and so far I am SO happy with my result!
I also was working on what used to be a true phobia of anesthesia -- one where a few years ago I would jolt out of bed just thinking about the idea of. I had breast augmentation in 2001 and started ruminating about the idea of needing them removed one day, and I became terrified of going back under. Fortunately, time had passed, and the phobia was no longer quite what it was. I requested the gas anesthesia first to go to sleep to, and this made me extremely more comfortable and I remembered almost nothing! I was out in just a brief second.
I was told that about 500 cc's was transferred to each side of my butt, but the fact that Dr. Zelken focused so much on shape rather than size (since I didn't have a lot of donor fat) really made a huge difference! I am so happy with the new shape I have, along with new hips, giving me the hourglass figure I've always wanted! I can't wait as the weeks pass to see how it settles and gets soft!
Dr. Zelken is a great doctor -- I trust him immensely -- and his office staff is also superb, answering my constant questions for the month or two before my surgeries. I will be going back in for my next surgery of revision rhinoplasty and breast lift with implants in a couple more weeks.
Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll try to answer! I hope the pictures help!
Take care~

Hi! I love your results! What area did you get your fat removed?
June 19, 2021
Thank you so much! It was removed from my arms, belly, inner and outer thighs (and chin.) Since it was only a little over a week ago I"m still waiting to see a lot of swelling to go down, but so far I'm very happy! Are you planning to do this too?

Sorry, I just realized my previous answer to you was incomplete! He also removed fat around my waist and back area. But the areas I previously mentioned he also included Bodytite on.

Overall, he removed fat to sculpt out the new shape to make it hourglass, plus a few other areas. Thanks!

Yes! I've been wanting for years Been to several consulting as well I'm also on the petite side so seeing someone petite like you have such a nice results makes me happy! How is the recovery so far? I'm really curious at which weeks butt gets softens up

Oh great! I would bet you would get good results too. Though I will say, it helped that I gained about 9 pounds to do it...when I was a little lower the Dr. Zelken was concerned it might not be as noticeable. Anyway -- my recovery is going really well! Fortunately, my husband is totally on board as my helper. (I don't know how i would have gotten in and out of my first faja by myself -- it was so tight!) I'm on a second faja now only because I felt the original was too tight and also because I'm about to get my boobs done which will require a different type of compression. I took my pain pills for the first few days and then mostly didn't need them after about Wednesday (I had my surgery on a Monday.) I was a little hunched over partially from surgery partially from my faja at first, but that seems to be better, and I'm making sure to walk around a lot -- even going on short walks around my apartment complex. I have not found it to be all that painful, although probably like you, I have seen a ton of bbl vlogs where people acted like they were in agonizing pain!! I never was. The main painful areas are like my chin, and the backs of my arms where I had both lipo as well as Bodytite. Bodytite results will not really be too visible for several months, but I'm really glad I did that in certain areas to retract the skin better. Not everyone needs that, but I felt that my body did.

I am ALSO really excited for when my butt will soften up and feel normal!! But for now I'm just really enjoying the new shape. In my new faja I have a total bubble butt which is exciting! I may add a picture of that tomorrow!

That's great! I'm looking forward to your new update! 500cc each butt seems so little but I also hear that above certain volume the fat survival rate decreases significantly so I'm sure your after your swelling goes down you'll keep majority of your fat Do you feel any itchiness?
June 23, 2021
Thanks! I'm more itchy where I got bodytite done I think. Not really my butt -- in fact, my butt isn't really even sore. But areas like my lower back, where they lipo'd and other places they took fat from are still numb two weeks later and can also be a little sore!

UPDATED FROM Poetgurl78
1 month post

Almost 6 weeks PostOp

Poetgurl78
Hi again!
Today is Thursday and Monday will be 6 weeks postop. I wanted to give a small update. My butt has definitely gone down in size -- mostly from reduced swelling, I believe. At first it really freaked me out that I was losing all the fat that was transferred, but I'm still up one size in pants/jeans and I can also definitely see a curve there that didn't used to be. I'm including one collage picture I made as well as updated photos. The collage picture is to show you my true before and after picture. I lost 67 pounds in 2019/20 and this first picture in the collage is of that time. Before the surgery I gained about 9 pounds, which gave me a little bit more of a butt, but not much, so I wanted to make sure you saw how flat I was originally. I had nothing there! The second picture in the collage was 10 days or so after my surgery.

The other pictures from today are from this morning. There are four of them. You can also see the swelling has gone down a lot from the lipo and bodytite. Again, I had those procedures on my arms, inner and outer thighs, stomach, back and chin. I think I've also lost 5 or 6 pounds accidentally, so I'm a little thinner.

Anyway, I'm very happy with how everything has turned out so far. I've also gotten a breast lift with implants, and a revision rhinoplasty since my first surgery when I had the bbl. They were 3 weeks apart, so after my 3rd surgery, I did have to start lying on my back with my chest and head elevated, and I laid on pillows to cushion my butt. It doesn't seem like it did much harm. My doctor assured me by that time my newly implanted fat would have established a blood supply, and as long as I was careful, I wouldn't be ruining my bbl.

I hope you all are doing well, and if you have any further questions, please write them below! Thanks!
