Getting Skinny BBL and Lipo 360 with Dr. Matthew Schulman

So much has happened since my BBL and lipo 360 with Dr. Schulman. It's been a wonderful journey. First of all let my start by saying that it was the best decision I made and don't regret a thing. It was NOTHING like I seen on youtube from the Miami clinics. I had NO pain at all, I just felt sore, like I had done 100 squats and crunches. I didn't take any pain meds, I managed with extra strength Tylenol. Anytime I called or emailed with questions or concerned, they responded IMMEDIATELY!

I prepared meals for the next 3-4 days so I wouldn't have to rely on anyone. I didn't need much help but I definitely wanted company because I was so bored being in the house all day. I was able to cook and do my laundry 3 days post-op. I only needed help with putting my foams in place when I went to the bathroom. I did experience neck pain due to being on my stomach so much but it eventually went away. My results are amazing, I look so natural, if you didn't know me before. If you did, you would see what I great job Dr. Schulman did to get my body to look this good, without looking overdone and proportionately ridiculous, truly amazing. I honestly didn't know I looked that bad until I saw those pre-op pictures. Oh my God, I really had nothing back there and those hip dips were terrible! I'm 56 y/o and look much younger now cause I have the freedom to wear whatever I want without having to try and hide my flaws. I wear the same clothes I had before but they look so much different now. I will post pictures soon.

So after much thought and consideration, I had my in-person consultation ($500) with Dr. Matthew Schulman on 6.2.21 for lipo 360 and BBL. My BMI is 23.5, I am 5'4", 137lbs and I'm 55 yrs old. Initially my only concern was having enough fat for a transfer, however, during my consultation Dr. Schulman said I didn't have a lot of fat but enough for him to do my bbl. I will get fat from upper back, lower back, flanks and abdomen. He also recommended I get a tummy tuck because he feels that after the lipo I may have some loose skin due to age, having had 2 kids and not being sure how much of my skin would retract back. He said it would take a year to see my final results and I would not be able to have a tummy tuck until a year, when I'm fully healed and see my final results. I agreed to this, I went through the process of getting cleared by my PCP, paid my deposit and scheduled my surgery for October 14, 2021. I don't want to be wearing a faja during hot summer months so I thought October would be better because it's cooler and entering into the colder weather. Also, no one would really notice the faja and foam pads during the winter due to all the layers.
I will be taking 2 weeks vacation from work plus another week from sick time. I hope this will be enough time to recuperate, somewhat, and feel well enough to go back to work. I sit at my desk all day so I will have to be figure out how to sit with my bbl pillow and take breaks.
I'm so excited that I can't wait to October. I got my pre-op instructions which say to start taking iron supplements immediately, so I did. I bought Hema-Plex because everyone in the surgery community recommends them. I also stated buying my must have supplies such as the female urinal, lipo foams, abdominal board, arnica gel, chuck pads, xl wash cloths, etc. Dr. Schulman also sells a bbl kit for a little over $650 which I will be buying as well. It brings the bbl pillow, another stage 1 faja and a stage 2 faja, scar gel and lipo foam.
In the meantime, I will continue doing my research to learn more about post-op and recovery.
