BBL reduction, good bye projection

ORIGINAL POST

BBL reduction

Hello ladies.
It's been a very long time since I've been on here. I originally got a BBL with Dr. Salama in 2014...his BBL was perfect. Gave me exactly what I wanted at the time. Now, almost 6 years later I feel like my BBL is wayyyyyyy too big. I want a more natural look. I'm going back to him to do Lipo to the buttocks and hips with JPlasma after so the skin doesn't sag. It's really hard to find any reviews on BBL reduction so hopefully I can be of some help for those looking to do it. I'm scheduled for January 2020. I'm 5'0 and currently 155lbs. My goal weight is 135lb

Are you doing JPlasma with it as well? Omg I'm so curious to see how it will look because there isn't any pictures on here
November 10, 2019
Yup! I’m doing the Jplasma as well! I hate that I can’t find anyone On here who has been through this procedure so I’ll know kinda what to expect! But he did my BBL in 2014 and I’ve been in love with it but it’s too much for my legs and back now. I can see it as well as others so I want a more natural look but still have nice projection

I feel the same exact way. Especially since I'm only 5 feet tall. It's crazy that people do round 3 and 4 and I'm Just trying to reduce it lol. Please keep me updated! My procedure is in 8 weeks! I still haven't told my hubby. He is going to be FURIOUS lol

Yesssss I always said I would never go back because I loved y results and I know so many people who went back multiple times to get it bigger and here I am, now trying to get it smaller lol but at least I’m not compulsive with it, I literally haven’t been back since 2014 and never cared to do another round but again it’s just too much for me now. But omg I can’t believe you haven’t told your husband lol mines knew from the time I sent photos in to get a quote! Luckily he’s behind me 100% and actually agrees that it will look so much better when it’s smaller. But I go in next Friday and I’ll keep you posted my love and you’re more then welcome to reach out to me if I don’t reach out to you! Is there anything you’ve found out about this surgery that you think can be helpful to me? I’m 5 days awayyyyy lol I’ve just been going off the top of my head with things I remembered I needed when I went for the BBL... I’m hoping and praying it won’t be nothing like the BBL

It's because he doesn't think it's necessary and he doesn't understand how it feels... all the looks I get, the constant comments, the feeling of being uncomfortable and just knowing people are looking. I can't stand it... plus, the older I get the worse it'll look. I rather take care of it now while I'm young. And I haven't even thought about what I need for surgery!!!! With my BBL I planned every step, with this I don't even know where to begin because it's just lipo and we treat it opposite... so I'm guessing get some good garments, eat well, drink lots of water, and get massages!!!

Totally understandable! Hopefully he will understand and jump on board with you and support you! We know what’s best for us! I totally feel you on how it makes you feel so self conscious and you know when people are staring and talking, it isn’t always good talk! But I will be keeping you posted on everything! I’m 3 days away!

Your choice... my observation Ijs....not coming from a negative place either. I hope you get the outcome you desire. We all wanna look our best... and feel our best too.

Yes. A choice made when I was 20 and naive. Now that I'm older I regret the decision and look forward to spending however much I have to spend in order to feel comfortable in my own skin. I appreciate the feedback and the well wishes

Hi, did you get a bbl first and you’re no longer excited about your results?

Hi, yes I got a BBL in 2014. It's not that I'm not happy with it, it still looks nice, very little dimples. But I just don't want it as big anymore. I want my natural small butt back
November 12, 2019
for ya after 5-6 years that is great. how long before it started getting too out of control?
User Avatar

I would say after the 3 year mark, very little diet and barely going to the gym. Plus a pregnancy... it just got too big and wide
November 12, 2019
can you lose weight? or it won’t come off? i’m getting kind in a few weeks and i’m prob gonna run into this same issue
User Avatar
November 12, 2019
I've tried to lose weight but the butt remains the same size. I've tried working out and it only gets bigger.... lol some people would love to have this issue, I just want it gone!!!!
November 12, 2019
i know!! hate to see this beautiful booty reduced thou
November 12, 2019
honestly babe after looking hard you just need to get fat in back of thighs and near hip line to look real. the size is honestly fine

It's just too much maintenance at this point lol I rather reduce it... at least 35-45% It'll stll have a nice shape... just less Kim K vibes and more Kylie Jenner vibes lol
November 13, 2019
Mood yes! Im so over the huge butt I was a slim thick Kylie vibes or draya

I agree. She looks fine now as a matter of fact!
November 25, 2019
What do you mean by a lot of maintenance ? I agree it's too big. It's nice but to big for you.
User Avatar
November 30, 2019
Maintenance as in you have to watch what you eat, how much weight you gain, if you don't constantly go to the gym and squat your butt will start to sag and look even worse, it feels super heavy. I rather have my small butt back and not have to deal with it at all... I've always had a nice round butt, idk why I decided to do a BBL

that's why am getting a reduction in March.

I want a lot less projection from the side. I love the overall shape but it’s just too big. The first picture was right after the BBL, about 6 weeks Post Op. the other pictures are recent within the last year. The first and last picture are 5 years apart

So it does grow/get bigger?
User Avatar
November 12, 2019
Yes... the more weight you gain the bigger it gets.. at least for me
User Avatar
November 24, 2019
Yup! Like she said, if you gain weight, especially like more than 5 pounds, it will get out of hand reaaaaaally fast and start to look too heavy
User Avatar
December 15, 2019
Yes! Yes it does with weight gain. And just like when the fat was in our stomachs, it’s the last to be affected by weight loss.
December 27, 2019
Question I have is how many cc's of fat did you get transferred in each side during your BBL?
User Avatar
December 29, 2019
I never found out a specific number but I'm sure over 1000ccs
