Regret and Waste of my Money! SO DEPRESSED

A year and a half later and I'm pretty much to square zero and full of scars! They don't heal. Please please, if you are going to FL for a bbl, there are so many more qualified doctors to go to. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Doctor Mosca is an ok guy with an impressive resumé but desperately lacks practical experience and SKILLS, mainly customer service skills (only four years doing cosmetic surgeries). It's been over a month since my surgery, but instead of feeling beautiful, confident, and empowered, I feel cheated, depressed, and lost. I cry myself to sleep every night, I invested so much money on this surgery and now I need to do it again. As Doctor Mosca likes to say "you get what you pay for" and you really do sis. I didn't stop to think that all his "before/after" transformation pictures are taken directly post-surgery, which is when a patient's butt is swollen and full of blood/ liquids. The reality is, your butt won't look anything even close to that when you are fully healed. You may already know that people usually lose anywhere from 20-30% of the fat after surgery but I'd say I only kept 20-30% at best. According to Dr. Mosca, it is my body's fault, as my skin is tight and wouldn't allow fat to transfer past a certain threshold and that there is no way to control how much fat I ultimately lose. I understand that my body has its limitations but so does Dr. Mosca. I've seen surgeons who cost a little more that have three times the experience give incredible projection to women who were smaller than me, that had less fat to work with, and that also had tight skin. I guess you get what you pay for - aka the "Mosca Mini Butt Makeover." A more experienced doctor would feel comfortable putting more of the right type of fat during the transfer. That said, I am grateful for the work he did on my midsection, which gave me an more of an hourglass figure and ab outline than I could achieve naturally but my main desire was butt projection and size. Before surgery Doctor confirmed "I'm not able to give you a Kim Kardashian butt but I'll give you more projection". I didn't want that kind of butt anyways but I wanted some size and projection, WHERE IS IT? Devastated over the money I just wasted, I consulted with other surgeons (as I need to get a revision pretty soon) and they all think that the reason for which my butt shrank so much was because the fat that was transferred during the procedure was mixed with too much fluids and blood (of course this could also have been avoiding if the professional was qualified to add more fat to the buttocks). Right after surgery I saw this coming as my butt was already small (I didn't get scared with the size of it when I first saw like some people do), I was also leaking thick blood after the surgery for days. On top of that, his nurses gave us conflicting information on multiple occasions but Dr. Mosca's defense was that "they were part of the surgery center team and not his employees." When my husband called him out for this lack of professionalism and managerial skills, they ended up in an argument. Thankfully for Dr. Mosca, this was over the phone and not in person. Ask yourself, is this the kind of accountability and character you want from someone who is going to cut you open and operate on you? I don't know how things are done in Florida, but the surgeons in the Northeast wouldn't dream of bickering with their clients like that. I should have just spent the extra money and had the procedure done at Georgetown. Don't even get me started on the rest of his staff. They are as unreachable as they are incompetent. You would think you were trying to get a meeting with the President himself, that's how impossible they are to reach once they have your money. Scammy AF. I had someone scheduled to come to me for post-op lymphatic massages but Dr. Mosca said he strongly advised me to do it at the clinic as he knew that his "team" would provide quality work, so I changed my plans and did my first massage at the clinic. Guess what? The lady who did my massage told she didn't work at the clinic - they just called a random person to do my massage! She even gave incorrect instructions regarding the garments, but once again, Dr. Mosca deflected the blame, which is ironic because he is the one who specifically told me "if the person who does your massage doesn't know what they are doing or put your garments wrong you will be deformed and there will be nothing I can do about it." In other scam related news, Tatiana charges almost $600 for garments (along with pillow and small accessories), as if they are gold plated with the Gucci logo on them. That is OUTRAGEOUS, considering that both of my garments ripped within a week. Trying to see some good out of all this, I just try to keep telling myself that I don't hate my body but this surgery definitely put me into a depression, as I did not get my 7k worth. I got an EXTRA SMALL SKINNY BUTT LIFT/ FAT TRANSFER to the point that people close to me don't even notice I got a BBL. Doctor showed no empathy when I told him I was unhappy with the results. I left my state to see this doctor, this cost me close to 12k total!!! Maybe if he would focus on the surgery instead of doing stories on IG, it would have come out a little better. Do yourself a favor, if you want to have a nice butt take your business elsewhere because at this point I should have paid 14k for my dream doctor or $3,500 for the shady basement clinics in Miami. But as the Doc says, "it is what is is at this point, you had absolutely no curves before". Completely disappointed.
