Having done a lot of research i wanted to find a safe doctor in the UK that can also deliver really good results i found Dr Cotrufo. I was filled was hopefulness. I went on to have several consultations although everytime I was kept waiting over an hour sometimes even two.I dicussed expectations and results and what i wanted .One thing I wanted to make clear is how I only wanted to have the one surgery and he said I might need a stage 2 I didn't realise at the time why this was said until now. Fast forward to having the surgery which was a BBL with fat transfer to hips and buttocks lipo from arms and back. The recovery was rough alot different to previous surgerys not due to laying on stomach although not pleasant but from how rough his team must have been as I was throwing up blood which has never happened before and made me panic. I followed every aftercare advice wore all the correct fajas and had all the lymphatic drainage massages for months and at first I liked my results for the first 6 weeks although I did still have hip dips just not as bad I suppose, but then the fat started to get absorbed and left me with uneven bum cheeks and lumps I still have discolouration from lipo to flanks/back and my arms are lumpy and tight. I have expressed my concerns with the doctor and spoke of possible revision and this is where the stage 2 comes in. He now says that I will need to pay for any corrections and how the results i want was always going to be 2 BBLS I found out that only 700cc of fat was injected to each cheek which is not alot in comparison to all the reviews and research I found I was told small fat transfers survive and not over filled ones well thats just not the case. I believe it's to get you to book another surgery . All about the money. Im now left disappointed and not sure what to do having already spent almost £12,000
And quoted another close to £12,000 to fix. Im now stuck in limbo.
