So - volume loss was a combination of my metabolism and insufficient aftercare. Do not sit on your butt for 6 weeks. Take that seriously. Lol. Will be returning to Dr G for a second round. Good luck x.
Lost the whole BBL
Hey ladies. I went to Dr G in May of 2021. Not much planning prior I just saw his work online and loved it. His bedside manner is great. The girls in the recovery house were amazing. I felt really taken care of overall. BUT, one thing I think could be better is if they just have the drivers bring us to the waiting area maybe 30 minutes prior to surgery. I was waiting for like 6 hours up there. He put draining tubes in for recovery which was great. Much less messy than letting the fluid drain all over our beds. I didn't see him again post-op but everybody I saw instead was nice.
So here's the thing. I left and lost volume of course because the swelling went down overtime. That's normal. I figured after a year I was done healing but I lost a little more volume. I reached out to his assistant and she said come back but you get a small discount. I wasn't quite ready for that. About 1 year and 8 months later I lost the butt completely. It's right back to the butt I had prior to surgery. THE BUTT IS COMPLETELY GONE. I went through so much pain and healing and spending for this process and to just have it melt away so many months later? I can't understand it. I reached out to Dr G's assistant AGAIN and she said oh that's weird, go get an ultrasound. What? How would that help? I was offered a 300 dollar discount to come back but I don't think that's enough. I asked a couple of girls I met there who also went to Dr G if they lost the butt completely and they said no. I can't imagine why this happened but I'd definitely like a resolution. If I don't get one I'll just go to another surgeon for a second round. Also my stomach was smooth before surgery and since then there are these two little pockets in the front with a split between them. Like a little butt stomach. It's firm, no sagging skin. Whether I gained or lost weight before surgery I've never seen this. Can't get it to go away so I need that corrected as well. The experience as fine but very disappointed that the work is gone. And no care being given to the situation.
