POST OP 4 MONTHS!

Hey ladies!! I am now at 4 months! I am still getting lymph drainage massages once or twice a month. (More or less for better skin adhesion??) sometimes I’m still sore/swollen.. but overall everything be a little flat flat!!!

I don’t have a naked pic yet.. and I will closer to 6 months post op!! But I literally love how I look with clothes on. I’m still lathering myself in cellulite oil.. and compressing on and off! I wear my faja maybe on the days I feel bloated. I also am doing the tape method on the days that I slouch and there’s a random crease on my upper ab area.

But girllll my butt be looking perky perk. And I also got my arms done.. and no dangling turkey neck here ladies!!

Sx Day Review and 3 days Post Op

Hey yalls! I’m back 3 days after my surgery. Girl lemme tell you. Make sure you keep all your ducks in a row. Know what lipo areas you want besides the 360. I knew I wanted my arms done, so I got that done. Not too bad on pain! The most painful in the throbbing of your butt and maybe the bruising. But not too bad. I took 2 Tylenols right after surgery and only took the norco (half a pill) for post op massages because they reopen your incision and press on the tender parts (No girl it hurts like a beetch). I got the 5 massages at Jolies but I only opted for one right after my post op (you come back a day after Sx).
Overall the surgery day went well. I got told the day before around 6 PM when my surgery was. I got 5:30AM which I wanted because I wanted to not wait for the other ladies in surgery. My anesthesiology nurse was very sweet! DK also was sweet. You got to trust him and not be giving him pics. You gotta compliment him and everything cuz he’ll do you right. He did my arm like nobody’s business. It is much smaller now. When I got to the sx center the morning of, there were three girls scheduled at the same time. Because I think he just goes back to back to them. Then, basically I was lead to the room and got IV-ed! (Also did my pee test and covid test that same morning). Then I woke up and just felt bloated and in pain, like the throbbing. But wasn’t too bad. I was able to get up and get in to my RH van and just go home. I didn’t take the norco until the following day for post op like I mentioned. One thing you gotta prepare for is the after care girl: pack bromelain, bcaas, arnica tablets and gel, tylenol EXTRA STRENGTH FOR MUSCLE ACHES AND PAINS, Electrolyte powder. All these are game changers for you to heal quickly and recovery is so much better.
Pic is me 2 days post op with drainage. See how flat my back is. My lower back is still swollen with fluid and will go down! And my stomach shape is so much better.

Today was the Sx day! Pre-Op Review in this post!

Lemme just tell you. You need to a patient person to go through them (Jolie)! But I actually didn’t wait a long time on either day at Pre-Op or Sx!
The Pre-Op yesterday went “slow okay”. I got in 8:45AM, then I didn’t get out of there until 11:00AM. So be strong willed ladies. They do everything by charts (paper chart). And since I haven’t seen ladies reviewing the Pre-Op process I will let you know now. They do not have a linear system. You will be called to do your faja fitting, foam boards purchase, vitals check, before pictures and paperwork... all at random order. I got called around 9:25 AM for faja fitting, then got the foam boards ($20 each there - you can buy on Amazon a pack, but I didn’t)! They are also charging for a required COVID19 Antibody test ($100). This part was great. I’m glad Jolie is really ensuring that every patient is Covid-19 Negative before their surgery! Then, I waited some time in the waiting room... then they called me to do the stack of paperwork, and you can find a lady on Youtube that explains that to yalls. Be aware, Florida doctors are not required to have malpractice insurance! Then, the paperwork lady was nice and took my before pics right away! But it was the waiting for the “vitals” nurse that took FOREVER. I waited about a hour or so, and he got me to just get my vitals, ask me if I have any health issues and that’s it. I didn’t get a Hemo test during this day or my Sx Date... so girl, it’s based on your labs you’ve sent in. Thank goodness I had a 14.8 so I was banking on that (I also was taking Floradix every day until Pre-Op) so I can heal better. After the nurse (which took like 5 seconds), I went up to the front desk to ask if I MISSED ANY STATION. LADIES! Ask ask ask Jolie’s front desk before you leave! Some surgeons require a Urine Test at Pre-Op and Sx girl... you gotta be on top of it!! Dr. Kagan (DK) didn’t. Also this girl was called by the nurse 10x and I think she left and I don’t know what happened. But you gotta be proactive at Jolies. But be nice. These ladies are working too. Working to get you your body. No need for drama or attitude. Overall, my Pre-Op was okay-ish. I flew in at 7:30AM to MIAMI AND ARRIVED TO THE CLINIC AT 8:30! Soo it was a long day, but if you stay at a recovery house (I’ll do a review that on a later update unless you need it, please comment asap, I love my RH) then it will be easy. They got me a ride to and from Pre-Op, feed you, extra supplies, peanut butter crackers, airport transportation.. girl you do not need to worry about nada!)
Anyways, if yalls have any questions on the Pre-Op Day. Please ask!
