I had surgery

I had surgery at Miami Life Cosmetic Center with Dr. McAdoo in January 2026. My procedures included a breast augmentation, Lipo 360, arm liposuction, and a BBL.

Initially, the process was smooth. The staff was responsive during the consultation and scheduling process leading up to surgery. However, my experience changed significantly after the procedure.

On the day of surgery, my procedure began approximately four hours behind schedule.

Immediately after surgery, I noticed a lump on my right buttock. I followed all post-operative instructions carefully, including wearing my compression garments consistently, attending post-op massages, and avoiding direct sitting by using both a BBL pillow and the BBL chair recommended and sold by the doctor.

Despite following instructions, the mass remained large and noticeable. At six weeks post-op, I contacted the office about the issue and was initially told it was likely swelling. When the problem continued, I contacted them again and was scheduled for a video consultation with the doctor.

The doctor was four hours late to the scheduled virtual appointment, and I had to call the office five separate times to confirm whether the consultation would still take place. When the doctor finally joined the call, he informed me that the lump was actually the largest seroma he had seen and that it needed to be drained immediately.

I flew to Miami within 72 hours to address the issue. During that visit, 120cc of fluid was drained from the seroma. Two days later I returned and another 65cc of fluid was drained. I was told that the remaining swelling should resolve over time. However, the area began filling again shortly afterward and the seroma remains present.

During this visit, I also raised concerns about visible cannula marks on my arms following the arm liposuction. The doctor acknowledged that he could see the marks and stated that this would likely need to be readdressed during a revision. In addition, I still have pockets of fat remaining on my abdomen after the Lipo 360, which was also discussed during the appointment.

At that time, Dr. McAdoo gave me the business card for the general manager, Tatiana, and told me that she had already been informed that I would likely require revision surgery. He instructed me to contact her directly to schedule and discuss pricing and pre-operative arrangements.

The following week I called and left messages every day for five consecutive days and also sent three emails requesting follow-up regarding the revision. I received no response.

Based on my personal experience with a significant post-operative complication and the lack of follow-up communication afterward, I unfortunately cannot recommend Miami Life Cosmetic Center or Dr. McAdoo.
