Dr. Lyons

After 10 years of wanting this procedure so badly, I finally decided on Dr. Lyons. I liked his work and I was very apprehensive about going out of state. Their rates fit my budget so I decided to go with Goals. I should have known better. It is truly a hit or miss with this place. I had my procedure done in March of 2022 and I can tell you that I knew right away, literally after getting up from the surgery table, I wasn't going to be happy with the results. You are in fact awake while the surgery is being performed. I was literally terrified when I found this out but felt a little more at ease when I did my research and found out that the overall complications and side affects are decreased with local anesthesia. Nonetheless, I am considering a round 2 and will opt to be under general anesthesia because I did feel some pain as the doctor was removing the fat. Nothing excruciating but it was more pain then I expected to feel. I knew I wasn't going to be happy with the results because I felt he spend no time inserting the fat into my buttocks. I realize that I was woozy, however in my mind, I was like there is no way he could have given me a good size butt with the amount of time he spent there. I didn't want a huge butt and I explained this to him right before my surgery. I showed him photos and emphasized that I wanted great projection. You have to pay $250 if you want to meet with him prior to surgery, otherwise you just get a surgery coordinator. I made 3 appointments to meet with him prior to surgery. First appointment, they sent me to wrong address and 2nd and 3rd appointments were cancelled on me. I have nothing but good things to say about my coordinator. She was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and overall super nice. But back to surgery...they don't put a faja on you your first day because they say you are way to swollen. They wrap you with some padding and this thick tight stretchy wrap. The faja is put on you the next day, after your first massage. I ordered the package which included 10 massages. Most of my massages were pretty good but beware, make sure you time them because was supposed to be a 40-45 minute massage can turn into a 20 minute or less one if you are not paying attention. Make sure you speak up if it is less then 40 minutes. I did appreciate that they call you day before each massage to confirm and there is almost no waiting to get your massage providing that you show up on time. I have gotten 7 out of 10 massages so far and I have not waited more than 5 minutes. When I was able to take a shower after 48 hours, I took a pic of my old and new butt and they were almost identical. I was so sad, depressed and angry for a few weeks as I have wanted this for over a decade. There is an illusion of a bigger butt because of the 360 lipo which he didn't do a bad job but he still left a roll on my back but whatever. Because there is fat removed from your stomach and love handles, your butt automatically looks a little bigger. I am now 7 weeks out and my butt looks no different. I am slowly rising out of the depression and disappointment and focusing on the lipo part. My stomach is flatter which generally give me more confidence, so right now I am trying to focus on eating right and enhancing those results because if I continue to think about my booty, I will wallow in self pity and depression. More to write...to be continued.
