3 Month P.O. Dr. Pane (JoliePlasticSurgery) 2019

WORTH IT$11,000
3 months P.O. today, and much happier with my results. Dr. Pane did a good job, even though my stomach still has problems and his lipo could've been more aggressive however, I would still need a Tummy Tuck to achieve my goal and I was advised by other surgeons before going to Dr. Pane that a TT or Mini TT might be necessary following the BBL procedure. I'm happy, healthy, and looking forward to the next and final step in this transformation.

4 week update

4 weeks p.o. and beginning to see some results. The swelling is improving a lot, I wake up to a new stomach everyday. Still awaiting the final result, I may have to consider a round 2 or revision with another facility of course but fingers crossed that won't be necessary.

The swelling looks as though it has subsidized. What about your BBL any improvements? Happy healing!
The bbl! It's still early in the healing/fluffing process but I measured 40' pre op, and I measured 42.5' day 4 post op. I'm currently 42' at 1 month post op. I have shape but there is no wow factor nothing that says BBL. I don't think Dr. Pane understands that people aren't going through this procedure to look average, his result thus far is underwhelming I never wanted a donkey booty but I didn't want to blend in with everyday people either. I had no infections and zero lipo burns and only moderate bruising which I'm happy about however, I do not recommend Dr.Thomas Pane for the BBL procedure specifically he isn't aggressive enough with fat removal and he doesn't have an eye for butt shaping. Also, I only have 9 incisions instead of the 12 advertised with the 360 lipo!
I agree with you 100%
This is good info to know. Thanks for sharing
I'm not sure that any of this review reflects on Dr.Pane, rather Jolie and there coordinators. All I can say is if they try any of that stuff with me( re-scheduling or extended wait times) with me I will tear that place apart . I will have a had full of hair, guaranteed. It sounds like everything worked out in the end.....but still concerning. Thanks for your review
Be very cautious, once they have your money you're no longer in control. They do and say whatever they want knowing the only thing you can do is leave and file a compliant like hundreds of patients have already done but you will NOT get your money back and they do not care about lawsuits the police or authorities there's a long line of unhappy people who already went that route and got no where. If I didn't take the appt with Dr. Pane I would've been out of thousands of dollars. Avoid Jolie if you can and if it's too late document everything and demand your friend or family be allowed in the O.R. to ensure your results and safety they will allow one person.
Well be ready to tear things apart. They were so disorganized and inattentive. I waited almost an hour for a follow up the day after my surgery and it wasnt even with Dr. Pane. I was sitting on my knees in a chair feeling dizzy & lightheaded & there was nothing they could do but have me wait because they are so booked.
Plus it is EXTREMELY hard to get in contact with them after you have paid them and had the surgery. I went last year and still didnt get an official response from Dr. Pane about a revision but I decided not to go back to him anyway. Bodyparts is 100% apot
Bodyparts is 100% spot on is what I meant to say. Dr. Pane was not aggressive enough with fat removal. I don't really have a wow factor and still have tons of back and stomach fat. And my butt has a weird shape. I totally feel like I wasted my money!
ORIGINAL POST

Male BBL Jolie Plastic Surgery July 2019

I initially schedule my procedure in June with Dr. Robert Kagan for July 15th, 2019. However, after weeks of preparations buying supplies making reservations sending photos and labs, and just 3 days before my procedure and 1 day before I was to leave for Miami, FL with my first class roundtrip non refundable ticket and many other reservations Dailin, my coordinator from Jolie Plastic Surgery called to inform me that Dr. Kagan has decided it's better to do my procedure in a hospital setting and unfortunately he's entirely booked for the next month. I was told I'd have to reschedule with Dr. Kagan or choose between Dr. Brewster or Dr. Pane as they were the only two available near the date of my original surgery. I expressed my dissatisfaction and explained my circumstances (non-refundable tickets) to deaf ears. Dailin did not care at all and she offered no explanation or consolation for Jolie or Dr. Kagan breaking our agreement. The Doctor had over 4 weeks time to review photos and decide the best course of action, but specifically I reached out to Jolie 3 weeks before my surgery date to inquire about the procedure and my calls went unanswered and my email got no response. I decided on Dr. Brewster whom I considered initially anyway but then I was told he wasn't available until the following week, that left Dr. Thomas Pane.

Dr. Pane was available on the 17th of July just 2 days after my initially date meaning I would only lose two days of recovery rather than thousands of dollars in non refundable reservations for myself and a friend!

Arriving at Jolie Plastic Surgery I was surprised when they called me back within 10 minutes of waiting (the reviews said it be hours), I completed paperwork, spoke with a nurse, and was fitted for my post op garment in less than a hour. But the day of surgery was the complete opposite. I arrived at 11:45 am my surgery was scheduled for 12:30 pm. I was again almost immediately taken back to give a urine sample. I was put in a triage room and after answering a few general questions I was left for at least an hour before Dr. Pane came in. Dr. Pane was nice and welcoming but still a bit distant almost distracted by the paperwork he filled out while speaking to me but not exactly looking at me. Nonetheless I engaged him instead by pulling out my photos and asking if my expectations were realistic. Dr. Pane explained that I did not have a lot of fat to work with but that he understand what I wanted and that he'd harvest as much fat as he could, on that we agreed. Dr. Pane took some pre op photos and than marked me for surgery. However, I would sit in that room another 4 hours alone before they'd come get me for surgery. At one point I stepped out in the hall in a gown just to make sure I wasn't forgotten. Finally after 5 o'clock the anesthesiologist comes to take me back. She was very pleasant and explained what she was going to do and how it'd feel, she was right lol it burns.
I wake up laying face down and I immediately sit up, the nurse stopped me from getting all the way up as they were still dressing me. I was swollen, bloody, and very uncomfortable but not exactly in a great deal of pain. I was able to help the nurse dress me and minutes later I was discharged. They assisted me out the back where my friend was waiting and I was off.
Once at my hotel I took a oxycodone ate a can of pineapple chunks a yogurt drank some juice and layed down but couldn't sleep until the medication kicked in.
I returned to Jolie Plastic Surgery the next day for a post op appt where Dr. Pane explained the surgery went well and he was able to put about 760cc into each buttocks (I was expecting at least 1000 in each but he said he did his best without harming my skin so I was grateful).

10 days post op and my butt has gone down a lot and I have no pain in my buttocks and haven't since day 6. My Stomach however was so sore and swollen it was bigger after surgery than before (disappointing) but the Doctor says it will go down in time so I'm holding my final review back awhile as I am not happy with my stomach at the moment but it has gone down a tiny bit but not at all where you'd expect a person who didn't have a ton of fat to begin with to be. As for my butt, I like it I have some concerns as to if it's enough projection at the top but I have to wait a while before I can say because my back is still very swollen. My butt is bigger and better than before but is it what I wanted I'll have to wait and see. The post op photos where taken on day 4.

Welcome to the community, thanks for sharing your journey with us. Glad you're doing well, keep us posted.

That’s why I never considered Jolie, when I did my homework I saw the reviews were horrible. It’s a good thing you ended up getting your surgery procedure done. We heal differently and you look good give it some time. I didn’t have a lot of fat myself for my BBL procedure and I had a very swollen stomach which has gone down a lot. You need to eat healthy fats & protein to feed your buttocks fat. I am 2 weeks 4 days postop and I’m working on feeding my fat. I posted a hi protein diet that I got from a friend that’s a nutritionist. Salmon & chicken is essential. Good luck and feel free to follow my journey. I post pretty much every step. Happy healing
Thanks a lot I will definitely be checking out your diet, they just say feed the fat never told me how! I'm 2 days short of being 1 month po and my stomach has gone down a lot which is great but so has my butt which isn't great lol this is nerve wrecking.
I agree with your review of Dr. Pane. He was nice and probably is a good doctor but I think his results are average. I didnt get the wow factor I thought I would get either. I remain disappointed with the shape of my butt & the amout of stomach fat & back fat that I was left with.
I agree 100%, I used the same words to describe his results. If your goal is to be snatched and stacked Dr. Pane does not deliver that kind of result. I'm grateful I wasn't botched, I do have and am still improving but I'm not totally satisfied either.
To go through the emotions and physical pain and not get the results we expect is hard breaking. However, I agree that it’s better than getting botched. @bodyparts2019, it just seems to me he had enough fat to harvest for your BBL.
Yeah I was rushed, likely because I was an add on due to my original surgeon canceling.
Feed your fat with healthy fats, avocado, dark chocolate, olives, cheese, salmon, nuts, almonds, walnuts, pea cans, macadamia, cashew, eggs, red meats, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, fatty fish, full fat yogurt, tofu & peanut butter. I did my research online, nobody told me I had to feed my fat. After 2 wks post op I went on a shopping & eating healthy fat spree. Also fruits with vitamin C are great for healing & keep in mind vitamin C make collagen. Good luck happy healing
