I lost some weight I couldn't get a nice shape, so I decided to get surgery

Great Doctor and Great Staff... I was so scared to have surgery,  I am a single mother and after my pregnancy, I gained 45 pounds, I hired a personal trainer, I did diet but even though I lost some weight I couldn't get a nice shape, so I decided to get Surgery. 

I asked a friend who went to Colombia to do her Surgery and she explained her entire journey and I got excited but I was so scared to go out of town so I started to do my research and took me 2 years to make my decision And I chose Dr. Salama. Why?? He is Board Certified with many years of experience and he had a lot of great reviews but also a couple of bad ones which makes me understand that there is a risk on any surgery but I took the chance…I called and since day one that I called I felt a good vibe Nancy was y coordinator and she is Great she made me feel so comfortable and guide me on the right direction then I started the process and when I saw all Dr. Salama requirements for get clear for my surgery that is the moment that I said to myself "Thank God and now I know I am in good hands". I started sending my labs results to Nomie and I have to say this she is great... OMG, she answered all my questions, she gave excellent advice to get ready and prepare for my surgery.

Then the day arrived Surgery Day I met Sergio my anesthesiologist (this was my biggest fear) I was so nervous but after he answered all my questions he said "don't worry I got you, I have kids too and if I am not sure that I am bringing you back I won't do this procedure on you" OMG I cried I had mixed feelings on that moment but Dr. Salama got into the room and told me you are going to be fine, don't worry. Then I went to the Surgery Room and Monica the OR Manager hold y hand while the anesthesiologist start the process and I just realized at that moment that it was true everything was fine and I was in a place that they do care about me. My Surgery went fine I woke up and Yaima the nurse gave me apple juice y prepared me to go home. 

Next day I went for my post-op appointment and they took my garment off because my skin was irritated. Next day I went for my first massage and I was terrified because my skin was so sensitive that I couldn't even touch myself but I met Waly OMG she is an angel, she was extremely gentle with and her personality and her massage was in another level, she definitely can work wonders also she gave me a ton of post-op advice to get the best results.

I am 6 months post-op and I love my results... Overall the entire staff, front desk, coordinator, nurses, massage therapist, and Dr. Salama are amazing staff which help me to go through this process an easier way and from be extremely scared to feel safe...
