How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

11 months post op
I know I said I wouldn't update but apparently my review is finally getting some traction so here it goes...
Well, I am almost an entire year post op, and not a single damn milliliter of transferred fat survived and my lower body looks worse than it EVER has.
My waist still measures the same as I did pre-op (but now it has a bunch of painful scar tissue). My ass/hips still measure the same as they did pre-op. I have zero muscle tone left which I am slowly trying to change since exercise is my only hope of ever feeling confident again...
I had 900cc transferred to each cheek and NONE of it survived.
This doctor seems really nice when you meet him but the truth is he will rob you blind and not give a crap. If you are expecting the Nene Leakes treatment, then you better be NeNe Leakes herself or you might just get treated like me...
All pain, no gain. And 15 thousand dollars poorer.
Part of me wishes I went out of country to do this instead. I paid premium USA prices for worse results than your average Venezuelan botch job.
Choosing this procedure with this doctor is one of the worst decisions I've ever made in my life. I thought my results couldn't look any worse than they did seven months post op... but here I am a year after surgery looking somehow even worse.
I changed all my stars to one star because it honestly doesn't matter how "friendly" the nurses and PA's are when you're being scammed. Every good con artist lies with a smile, after all.

BYE FELICIA
This is my last update (she says to herself)..
My review has been nothing but crying into the wind to a bunch of crickets who DGAF. Not even a moderator took the time to acknowledge my review. LOL. Don't know why I even wasted my time here. This is NOT the same supportive RS I remember from back in the day.
Thought I'd feel better sharing my experience and maybe helping someone else, or at least find a tiny bit of encouragement or support, but this site has changed.
My insight is obviously of zero value here so I am done wasting my time, peace out. Good luck, BBL ladies...y'all gonna need it.

Other bodily changes no one talks about...
There are some major changes your body will go through after a BBL, many of which are expected.... Everyone expects pain, swelling, and physical limitations during the months of recovery.
However, here are some changes to your body that you might not expect, but that you need to be prepared for regardless...
1. Skin changes... You'll be laying on your face for weeks, if not months, after your BBL. During this stage of recovery, fillers and Botox will be a waste. I have an excellent skincare routine, good skin genetics, and silk pillowcases, and I STILL experienced a surge in both acne AND wrinkles simply from sleeping on my face so much post-op.
2. Muscular changes... Your range of motion will be VERY limited for many months following surgery, and those of you who are into body sculpting (or weight training) will see significant atrophy to your leg muscles during this time. I have always been known for my killer legs, but my legs have never looked as saggy and as sad as they do now. Combine this atrophy with the fact that barely any fat survived in my hips and butt, and I actually look LESS curvy than I did before surgery. Not even kidding. Be aware of this risk, and that even if your booty looks great post op, your legs might still need to be re-sculpted from scratch.
3. Psychological damage... Again, no one talks about this unless they were botched. But the truth is, this type of surgery is very painful (breast augmentations are a cake walk, comparatively speaking), and you will need heavy duty painkillers afterward...painkillers which are known to have horrible side effects for many people. Combine these known side effects with the possibility of poor results, and you have yourself a recipe for a real emotional struggle ahead.
Conclusion: I experienced changes to my body alright... They just weren't the changes that I had (over)paid for. That's all. To be fair, these changes might have been well worth it, if I had had good results. Since I didn't, the changes I am stuck with (i.e.: depression, new wrinkles) are unfortunately not an improvement to my life in any way.
