Hey guys!
Well, after many years of researching and reading reviewed, I figured I would start my own journey to help future dolls I’m their own process towards their new body!
So a little about myself, I’m 38, have 5 children...yes I said 5! Lol. My oldest is 22 and my youngest is 15 months old! I’ve always been a skinny girl until I had my first daughter, then it’s been a a constant battle with my weight. I’m currently 193lbs, I’m about 5”5’ so BMI is currently at 32. I am dieting right now with the hopes of losing 10lbs or so before my surgery.
So, please feel free to follow me on this journey of mine and ask any question you may have!

So, I was going to join the Miami train and see one of the docs down there, but after discussing this with my hubby, he felt he would rather have me find a doctor closer to home for many reasons and I respect that of him! I knew I wouldn’t try anyone from my area as I feel they don’t have much experience with the African American population from the work I’ve seen on some of their websites, so I looked at NY and NJ. I’ve seen work by Dr Taranow and figured I’d start with him! I had my consultation with him and what can I say!!!! He has the best personality and he kept everything 100 with me and that’s what I liked about him! He told me straight up what he could do for me and he didn’t sugar coat ANYTHING! I knew he was the doc for me! And B is a doll! She answered any and every question I had and she was willing to spend a lot of time on the phone with me for my gazillion questions I had! Lol. She’s the best.

Hi Doll,
I also chose him as my doctor. I met with him a few months back and knew he was the one. He was very nice and honest. I set a date (June2019)and paid for my surgery a week before my date. The only thing I didn’t like was that my date was changed three days before surgery to a whole month later (July). Two days before that date it was changed again which I was really upset about. Here we are in August and I still haven’t gotten my surgery. I have been calling and I feel like I’m getting the run around. Hopefully my surgery won’t be rescheduled a fourth time. Nice7829 - I'm sorry to hear about the run around. I can tell you he had a minor procedure when I went in for my consult and I know they had to reschedule surgeries, so that's probably why your surgery was rescheduled. You should be good! Thanks. I will be keeping you guys updated. Did you start a journey of your own?

Thanks! Girl I hope it won’t be changed again because I’m considering asking if I could get my money back. My new date is at the end of this month. I didn’t start a journey but I will definitely come back and leave my review and post before and after pics, if I ever get my surgery lol

Awesome! Lol, you should be good hun! He really did have surgery and they had to reschedule his patients. I can't wait to see your results!!
