Consult done!
Bright586687December 18, 2022
Had my consult. He was running a little bit late, but everyone was still very nice. He was very nice, and listened to my concerns. He allowed me to show him my wish pics and seemed to be very honest about what I may need. His price tag is high (22K) but I expected that after all of the research Ive done. I am a true believer of “you get what you pay for” however he was the first and only doctor Ive consulted with, so once I speak with one or two more in my area, I’ll make my decision. I’m also a true believer that just because you’ve been doing it longer, doesn’t mean you do it better” (I just made that up. Lol) I will be making my decision, and having my procedure in March. Any questions let me know!

I haven’t seen many RECENT BBL reviews/comments lately - hoping I can change that. Going for my initial consult this Friday! Suoer excited. Is there anyone out there that has had a bbl from Dr. Markmann recently! Definitely plan on getting it done. Just hoping for the right shape and size! I’ll update after my initial consult!

I actually had one a week ago with Dr. Markmann. I was waiting until my results were more apparent before posting (a few months) about the whole thing but I had a good experience and I can answer any questions you might have

Thank you so much! What all did you get done? How much did he charge? The consultation was good. He explained everything pretty well. I was only able to see before and after pics of what he already has online. I was not too surprised by my 22K quote as I have been researching him, however my hubby wants me to get a consultation with one or two more surgeons since he was my first consult. Did you get a consult from any other doctors? Would ;love to see your before and after once your ready.

My quote was pretty much the same. Obviously a fair amount of it is for the anesthesia and surgery center and not for Dr. Markmann. I had lipo to neck, arms, abdomen and back including waist, flanks, and all that with the BBL. I also had a mini tummy tuck to remove my c-section scar because Dr. Markmann advised it might get worse (saggy above) after lipo. He originally expected it to be an 8 hour surgery at my consultation but I lost 25-30 pounds between my consult and surgery and it ended up being 6 hours.

I’m having less done than that. I’m having 360 lipo w/ BBL - wonder why mine is the same price for less? Yes! 5k of the 22k is for the surgery center… congrats on the weight loss! That’s amazing!!!! Can’t wait to see your pics!!!

Thank you! It could be inflation unfortunately. Also, I think the amount of time it takes him to do the surgery, regardless of the specific procedures contributes to the cost as well. I will let you know when I post. It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for swelling to go down and start seeing results but in actuality it hasn’t even been two weeks yet so I know I have to be patient (it’s so hard!)
