I think I’ve finally decided on a surgeon :) Dr. Six it is !!!

Hey guys, I had my second consultation yesterday and have officially booked my surgery date for August 4th of 2020! I can’t express how excited and anxious I am. My total quote as of right now including tax is $19,549.00. However, it is subject to change as I lose weight and get my BMI down. Currently my BMI is 28, and as of this year Dr. 6ix began charging an additional $2000 fee for patients with BMIs 28 and greater. In order to book a surgery date, a non-refundable $3000 deposit is required. Nurse Kim was very professional and excellent at explaining the procedure and answering all my questions with honesty which helped put me at ease and assured me that I had made the right choice going with Dr. 6ix. I was told in order to achieve the results I’m hoping to achieve, I absolutely must lose a minimum of 20lbs. I’ve gone ahead and booked a consultation with a weight loss/nutrition specialist in my area to help me out. In the meantime I’m going to post my wish pics along with my quote! Hey ladies I’m back with another update. I have officially booked my 2nd consultation with Dr 6ix for November 25th 2019. Been trying to lose as much weight as I can before I go in. Currently I’m 175 lbs hoping to drop atleast 5-10lbs before my consultation. I’ve just been making small changes to my diet like drinking 2Litres of water a day, eating more fruits &veggies and trying to stay away from junk food. Depending on how much weight I’m able to lose as quickly as possible - will determine when I book my surgery date for. As you all know from my previous updates, Nurse Kim advised me to get my weight down to 140-150 lbs which is the weight I’m happy with being post op. I’m very excited and anxious. I plan on giving them my $3000 deposit to hold a surgery date at the time of my consultation. In the mean time, I’ve been making my shopping list for what I’ll be needing pre-op and post-op. I will be sharing that list when completed :) I do plan on posting pictures as well once I lose the necessary amount of weight. Wish me luck!

Hey ladies I apologize for not being active on this. I’m not sure where I left off but I’m back. I did end up going to my first consultation back in October of 2018. Everything went well, however after receiving my quote I realized I didn’t have quite enough saved for everything I need. The quote I got was for $17289.00 tax included. The original quote was approx. $15230 without tax. I requested lipo 360 + bbl. On the day of my consultation I believe I weighed in at about 170lbs. Nurse Kim suggested that in order to obtain the results I’m looking for I must lose atleast 20lbs to reach my ideal weight goal after surgery. I also was told that I needed to quit smoking and work towards transitioning into a healthy lifestyle. That being said, I decided to take some more time off to plan my surgery journey. Right now, I am currently trying to lose weight and prepare for my 2nd consultation. Hoping to schedule my surgery date for November of 2020. (1 year from today). I will keep you guys updated. By the way I am looking for a surgery buddy!! If any of you plan on going to dr 6ix around the same time let me know! :)
