I am currently day 2 post opp. I wanted to wait until I healed more to write the review but I am honestly so happy with the whole experience that I couldn’t wait to write it.
I met for my consultation with Dr Kalsow and though I wasn’t with him too long I was quite confident in his knowledge. He was very honest and knowledgeable. I was looking for a good doctor in state so I didn’t have to travel and Dr Kalsow was quite affordable, had the best reviews, was super kind and board certified so I went ahead and booked my surgery for $6500 (Reg $7500 but August Promo price).
From then I started dealing with Sophia who is the client liaison. She was so funny, so kind and so honest. When I tell you I was TERRIFIED… I was so so scared. I knew I was going under local anesthesia so I would be awake. It’s all I could think about for 2 months. I would reach out to Sophia and she would calm my nerves like a real family member.
As confident as I was at this point in their expertise, I was still terrified of the pain and process.
When I walked in on surgery day I was greeted my Natasha and her daughter who also works there. She literally took away 95% of my fear. A lot of other reviews say different things (and I do know everyone is different) but my personal experience was nothing like I imagined. It was less painful than lip fillers! They also informed me that local anesthesia is not only safer but the patient actually gets better results because even though you’re totally out of it you are able to hear them and physically move where they tell you so as a surgeon they can always reach the exact place they need to. I would also like to thank Eddie, Dr, Kalsow’s tech. He was SO kind to me and made me feel so safe. At one point he was holding both of my hands.
Imagine your father doing your actual surgery, your uncle in there holding your hands and your two hysterical favorite aunts guiding you through the whole process before and after. I feel so happy and grateful that I found this place. AND their office is super cute and super clean. My friend waiting for me who took me home also had the best time chatting it up while I was in surgery.
Even though it’s day 2 I am also seemingly healing very well. The 24 hours after surgery make sure to have someone there at all times. It’s a lot of leakage from the fluid and you are naturally super sore and can’t move fast enough to do things efficiently when you need to swap out any pads or whatnot. Today is completely different and so much easier.
If you’re thinking of going anywhere for a BBL I would highly suggest Dr. Kaslow. I found a good dr in Miami for $5500. I added up hotels, flights and nursing services and it came to $8,000 and now I am currently in my own bed surrounded by my loved ones. I’m 36 so if I ever decide to get anything else done as I age I would only come here! So happy!! Thank you guys so much!!
