Got exactly what I wanted
I'm in my early 40s and even looking back at photos from my 20s when I was very thin, I always had a little muffin top. It's just where my body stored my extra fat.
When I decided to get a Brazilian Butt Lift, I made a list of 4 surgeons in Toronto and 4 surgeons abroad. I spoke with each of their offices and even paid for consultations. Dany, who works with Dr. Carmona at Shape and Beauty, was easily the best at winning my confidence. The whole process seemed very simple, and I decided to travel to Cancún to have the procedure. When I met with Dr. Carmona, he put me at ease. He listened to what I wanted: a little more projection, a smaller waist and let's lose the muffin top! What I didn't want was a derrière that looked like I just had a my butt done. I'm conservative that way. All the horror stories I read online and reviews on YouTube showing girls with agonizing recoveries... this was not at all my experience! I had no surgical drains, and although I experienced a lot of swelling, I wasn't in pain. I was even able to sleep comfortably on my side from day 1 (although I'd wake up a lot to shift positons). The whole experience was far far easier than I was expecting and I ended up with a slightly bigger, more rounded butt. I'm really happy with my results! I came home a day before everything shut down due to COVID, so I was actually able to recover at home without anyone even knowing I was away.

You look so great! I wanted a mini BBL too, but I was afraid of being in excruciating pain. Most of the girls online say it was horrible. Maybe they had way more lipo.
I really believe it also has a lot to do with the surgeon's technique. Just 3 days after surgery, I was taking a walk every morning. I was very swollen for a while, but by 7 days I felt good. By 2 weeks, I felt great.
Great results, congratulations I had also BBL with Dr Carmona in Cancun 3 years ago and the of the surgery. And recovery were great from the start to the finish of the operation His clínico team anesthesiologists, nurse "Chris "and Danny of his office coordinator were absolutely gems. I am planning to return once COVID-19 is over and do some additional body contouring with lipo and breast lift. I am glad you chose Dr. Carmona he is an artist, compassionate and dedicated doctor to his patients.
Hi there thanks for sharing! Fellow Canadian here. Just a question- how long did you stay in Cancun for after the surgery? How was flying home after a BBL?
Sorry for the late response. You may not even be looking for a response anymore but I stayed in Cancun for six days after the surgery and the flight home was a piece of cake. Whenever the seatbelt sign was off, I stood at the back of the plane near the washrooms. I sat with a rolled towel under my legs to keep pressure off my butt.
Thank you all for the honest reviews. I'm having mine in a couple of weeks. Anyone ant to Buddy up?
Hi there, how much was your surgery?
It was $4800 USD
