I am 62 years old and decided to do a BBL/Lipo 360. Still not too old to not care what I look like. I’m 5ft. 136 pounds with a BMI of 27.12. My surgery is scheduled for Dec. 14, 2019.
Realself has helped me so much through the years..if I didn’t read all the info on here I wouldn’t have a clue how to prepare for procedures.
My coordinator at 4Beauty is Vivian and she has been very helpful. I’m not going to go down to Miami for a face to face consult but will meet with Dr. Mendieta on the 13th of December at pre op. I think I am also going to get fat transfer to my lips.
I have searched recovery houses and decided on IMermaids in Miami based on great reviews. Plan to stay in Miami by myself from the 13th till the 21st. My only health problem is sleep apnea which is a big deal when going under anesthesia. I was assured that I will be fine.
I know it’s gonna be a tough few weeks after surgery due to my age and also not good with pain.
I will keep everyone updated.

I just came across your profile. I admire your courage and your attitude of life. I was 51 years old when I got my Tummy Tuck and I just got a BBL 3 weeks ago today, at 53. You are only as young as you feel, and if you are healthy enough "go for it!" Good luck to you. I look forward to your journey.

Thank you for your comments. I just read your review. You look great and hope I can look as good. How are you feeling at 3 weeks? I’m dreading not being able to sit for 2 months. What do you tell people as to why you are using the BBL pillow?

Thank you. I'm still homebound. I leave my house to walk and get air. I use the pillow in the car, only as a passenger, I'm not driving yet. And I don't go anywhere I need to sit. It's not comfortable for me.

Six weeks to go and I’m both nervous and excited. I have been shopping for all my supplies and will post some pictures of those later. Once you start buying you really realize how much more you are spending besides the cost of the surgery.

It is pricey but worth it, lymphatic drainage massage Can get pricey as well, do your homework to get a good price on a package for the massages if you’re going to get them. Follow my journey for tips. I am 14 weeks postop happy healing good luck

I have been following your journey and it has been very helpful to me. The recovery house has someone who comes in to do the massages and I plan on getting some.

Pictures of supplies I bought so far. Arnica pills and gel, Tylenol PM, tums,Hibiclens, Bio oil, Vitamin E oil, body brush, coconut oil cream, iron, folic acid, Fiber Gummies, Vitamins C, B12, and D3.
The recovery house provides the Chux pads, Tylenol, baby wipes, Neosporin, dial soap, maxi pads, etc.
