Hey dolls! I am the worst at writing reviews obviously, since it's been 1 1/2 yrs since my BBL. It's been quite the journey! Since I forgot most of the details of what happened I will actually post information that I had saved from my chat with my surgery sister below!
But in short I was absolutely amazed by the result! I didn't think I had enough fat for a big butt but Duran sucked me dry! I had never seen my abs until after the lipo and she filled my butt as much as she could and it was quite big 41", I couldn't believe it was me! I told her to give me hips since I had hip dips and she did what she could but said the lipo around my waist would already make me look like I had hips. A few months after the BBL my waist went down to 39.5".
The hip dips actually came back after some months as my body absorbed some of the fat but I didn't care, I still looked bomb! I didn't sit or lay directly on my butt for 8 MONTHS (!!!) since I was so scared of losing fat. After 8 months I thought I was safe and started sitting on my butt but not long after I actually noticed a bit of a dent on one butt cheek :''( I was quite happy with my butt most days but I still kept checking and measuring because I was still terrified my butt would shrink. I was at about 39.5" Less than a year after the BBL I decided I'd try to gain weight to see if my butt would get bigger so I ate like craaaazyy over the holiday period and I did gain weight...on my arms and thighs....but not an inch on my butt :((( And then just a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to lose some weight to get my arms and thighs a bit smaller and lost about 2 lbs so I was happy. But then....I looked at my butt one day and realized the top looked flatter than usual and overall it was smaller, so I measured it...and it was about 38.5", I lost a damn inch!!!! I am so frustrated and lost so much confidence because it feels like my butt is almost the size it was before the BBL, after all I went through! I never thought I'd consider a round 2 but now I absolutely want one as soon as I save up the money, I am thinking mid-April 2022, but my husband is super opposed and said he won't support me going again X( but I am obsessing over it and already planning on requesting a quote tomorrow and book my stay at Metropolis. Btw my stay at Princess RH on round 1 sucked!! Their food was horrible, they make the same things over and over and reuse the same oil for it all ugh. And get massages as soon as you can, the nurses at Princess didn't want to do it until Duran gave them the ok so fluid built up and when they did it, it burned like a bishhhhh!! I was seriously crying from the pain, it was almost as bad as labor!
Anyways this is just a few updates, I'll past info from my surgery below. I don't think I'll post pics since I don't want my naked pics all over the internet but I'll think about it.

I'll get there Sunday night, do all my lab tests Monday morning since it's supposed to be a lot, and surgery Tuesday. Hopefully they don't ask for a letter from the doc at the airport when you leave cause I read they do they sometime.
I'm just now starting to buy things. I have vitamin c, B12, iron supplements and will buy folic acid soon. I just bought two pairs of thigh high compression socks, Tylenol extra strength PM, slip on shoes and a chain with a lock to lock my suitcase to the bed with my laptop in it. This week I'll get Arnica gel, poise pads, antibacterial soap and hibiclens to shower with before surgery. Next week I might buy the ab boards and lipofoam.
Duran gives you the first faja but that's only for the first few days then you change into the second one which you can get with custom measurements there, they'll come to the Rh to measure you. Here's the content of my suitcase so far: 3 packs of maxi pads, bathing wipes, feminine wipes, 2 bars of antibacterial dial soap, hibiclens, Tylenol PM, Benadryl capsules and itch cooling gel, hand sanitizer, Neosporin, laxative, 2x compression stockings, 360 lipo foam with an board, lumbar board, measuring tape, baby wipes, arnicare gel, protein powder (instead of bringing Ensure), portable safe, chain with lock, extension cord, neck pillow, disinfecting wipes, muscle roller, slippers, small and big towel, organic cotton tank tops, boppy pillow for back, back scratcher. All I need is one or two more maxi dresses, my prescription meds and Tylenol extra strength. and there's a small pouch I'm wearing under my shirt to carry the money. I also need to pack a bag for the overnight stay but need to check what to bring. I didn't really end up using the massager roll.
I found a faja I want to buy, one that does not compress the hips since I'll get fat put there. bringing $1k extra just in case. My US doctor prescribed me all the post-op meds but the opioids for pain. He also gave me a letter with my test results clearing me for surgery.
1 day before heading to DR: Got the cash out, got waxed today, got the last bit of supplies and ran the last few errands. I'm super anxious right now, I can hardly believe I'm only a day away from being in the DR! I upgraded my seat on the longest leg of my return flight to a roomier one so I'll be more comfortable and I'm all checked in. Put my cash in a little tiny fanny pack that I'm gonna wear under my shirt.

All the tests came out ok thank God, I was.told to come tomorrow at 7am for surgery yay! I met with some really nice dolls, it got super packed later on, and I love their results I'm really excited now!
Haven't met Duran, I know she marks some dolls early but not me. Some got even their surgery same day as labs! I didn't ask if I could though, I want to have some food in my system before surgery.
I'm very relaxed but excited, it's nice to have a bit of time to myself without pain before surgery but I am so ready to look my best ever!
They just told me the latest I should eat tonight is 9pm, to bring wipes and... Honestly I forgot what else lol but I might just bring the whole suitcase anyways. I paid $50 to have a 24hr nurse so someone will look after me. Hopefully I'll be back at the RH Wednesday

Surgery day!:
Got there early and there was just another doll. Duran's office is freezing. Visit with Duran was actually underwhelming. She didn't even ask me what I wanted exactly, I think she is having an irritating morning or something. She says I don't have a lot of fat so she'll do what she can. That I'll look good but would look better with a tummy tuck which makes no sense to me if I have little fat and my belly is not hanging... There was 3 of us and I think she'll start surgery after marking up the third girl.
I just finished signing authorization form for anesthesia and I'm on the famed fourth floor for surgery. There are 3 of us getting surgery, not sure the order yet but I really hope I'm first. Duran didn't even ask me what I wanted she said she'll do what she can. I didn't even get to show her pictures or tell her I want heart shape. She did most of the talking. She won't lipo my arms, she said I have too little fat there and it won't do any good.
No idea why she wanted to give me a tummy tuck, she also asked the other girl who also doesn't have much fat. I think that's just what she's most comfortable and best at doing.
I think my expectations were too high because everyone says she's so sweet. I don't think she was rude but I didn't feel heard so make sure you get the chance to. She was honest, I just hope I don't look the same.
I'm nervous and a bit scared, I can't believe what's about to happen! Pulmonologist prescribed the medicine to clear up my lungs since I have a bit of cough, hence the mask. My nurse thought I'd be ready to go at noon. They left the blue pill on the counter but couldn't take it yet. My turn arrived at about 1:20pm. I didn't get any updates the whole time, I was just waiting and left wondering.
A few hours after surgery: I'm feeling ok finally the epidural wore off so I can have soup. Can't wait to see what I look like but I'm not allowed to get up yet. I don't feel any pain but I heard that kicks in on the second day I guess once the medicines wear off. I am.laying on my stomach right now. You should bring a pillow on surgery day, they don't give you one and it's really hard to sleep, hence me being in and out of sleep.
What to pack for overnight stay at clinic:
- tank top,
- pads
- compression socks (bought online)
- Phone charger
- Extension cord
- slippers
- Passport
- Bathing/baby wipes
- portable safe to lock on your bed while you have surgery
- Dress
- Hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste
Definitely get the nurse for 24 hrs. Nurses here have been lovely but there's no way to call them if you need something.
Around 8am next day: I'm so ready to get up, laying on my stomach has been the worst part. Waiting for Duran's assistant to get up.
Around 9:40am: I'm still waiting on blood result but nurse finally came at 9 , I got up and was leaking like crazy ew. She put my faja on and I'm loving how snatched my waist is wooohooo! But I gotta tell you the dizziness once I got up was so intense, I was sure I was about to pass out and throw up.. Thankfully I did neither, now I'm sitting on boppy and had soup for breakfast.
I'm back to laying on my stomach cause I don't wanna sit on my butt. Even with boppy my butt touches the chair a bit and no way I'm putting pressure. Also, I know it's not gonna be a big butt but I definitely felt more "cushion" when I sat. My belly button looked weird but nurse said it's just swelling. I looked at my face for the first time since yesterday and I almost freaked myself out. I've never seen my face so swollen in my life, I look like I got a serious beating. I can't even open my eyes properly (because I laid on my stomach all night)
Around 10 am: They just cleared me, don't need transfusion yay! Nurse is calling driver.
Feeling no pain. The day of surgery you can't eat or drink and no one can inform you of what's going on. I threw up a few times after surgery. I also slept on and off mainly cause I'm so uncomfortable on my stomach and I feel the burning from the built up fluid.
I left 8 days post op. Requested wheelchair at airport, and there's a special line for people with wheelchair. Make sure you have a tip for the person pushing you, they expect it. I gave her $5. You have to wear your compression socks on the plane and for at least a few days post-op. Make sure you walk around on the plane and often. My husband had been giving me massages almost every day and got one professional but it wasn't that much difference. So I just bought 4 and will get one a week and just let my husband continue for the rest of the time.
4 months post-op: I lost a little bit of fat, my hips were 41in after surgery and now I'm 39.5in. I wish I didn't lose that volume but the places she placed the fat are so on point that I love the overall shape. And after surgery waist was 29in and now it's 26in so I'm loving that.

Haven't met Duran, I know she marks some dolls early but not me. Some got even their surgery same day as labs! I didn't ask if I could though, I want to have some food in my system before surgery.
I'm very relaxed but excited, it's nice to have a bit of time to myself without pain before surgery but I am so ready to look my best ever!
They just told me the latest I should eat tonight is 9pm, to bring wipes and... Honestly I forgot what else lol but I might just bring the whole suitcase anyways. I paid $50 to have a 24hr nurse so someone will look after me. Hopefully I'll be back at the RH Wednesday

Got there early and there was just another doll. Duran's office is freezing. Visit with Duran was actually underwhelming. She didn't even ask me what I wanted exactly, I think she is having an irritating morning or something. She says I don't have a lot of fat so she'll do what she can. That I'll look good but would look better with a tummy tuck which makes no sense to me if I have little fat and my belly is not hanging... There was 3 of us and I think she'll start surgery after marking up the third girl.
I just finished signing authorization form for anesthesia and I'm on the famed fourth floor for surgery. There are 3 of us getting surgery, not sure the order yet but I really hope I'm first. Duran didn't even ask me what I wanted she said she'll do what she can. I didn't even get to show her pictures or tell her I want heart shape. She did most of the talking. She won't lipo my arms, she said I have too little fat there and it won't do any good.
No idea why she wanted to give me a tummy tuck, she also asked the other girl who also doesn't have much fat. I think that's just what she's most comfortable and best at doing.
I think my expectations were too high because everyone says she's so sweet. I don't think she was rude but I didn't feel heard so make sure you get the chance to. She was honest, I just hope I don't look the same.

My nurse thought I'd be ready to go at noon. They left the blue pill on the counter but couldn't take it yet. My turn arrived at about 1:20pm. I didn't get any updates the whole time, I was just waiting and left wondering.
A few hours after surgery: I'm feeling ok finally the epidural wore off so I can have soup. Can't wait to see what I look like but I'm not allowed to get up yet. I don't feel any pain but I heard that kicks in on the second day I guess once the medicines wear off. I am.laying on my stomach right now. You should bring a pillow on surgery day, they don't give you one and it's really hard to sleep, hence me being in and out of sleep.
What to pack for overnight stay at clinic:

- compression socks (bought online)
- Phone charger
- Extension cord

- Passport
- Bathing/baby wipes
- portable safe to lock on your bed while you have surgery

- Hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste
Definitely get the nurse for 24 hrs. Nurses here have been lovely but there's no way to call them if you need something.
Around 8am next day: I'm so ready to get up, laying on my stomach has been the worst part. Waiting for Duran's assistant to get up.
Around 9:40am: I'm still waiting on blood result but nurse finally came at 9 , I got up and was leaking like crazy ew. She put my faja on and I'm loving how snatched my waist is wooohooo! But I gotta tell you the dizziness once I got up was so intense, I was sure I was about to pass out and throw up.. Thankfully I did neither, now I'm sitting on boppy and had soup for breakfast.
I'm back to laying on my stomach cause I don't wanna sit on my butt. Even with boppy my butt touches the chair a bit and no way I'm putting pressure. Also, I know it's not gonna be a big butt but I definitely felt more "cushion" when I sat. My belly button looked weird but nurse said it's just swelling. I looked at my face for the first time since yesterday and I almost freaked myself out. I've never seen my face so swollen in my life, I look like I got a serious beating. I can't even open my eyes properly (because I laid on my stomach all night)
Around 10 am: They just cleared me, don't need transfusion yay! Nurse is calling driver.
Feeling no pain. The day of surgery you can't eat or drink and no one can inform you of what's going on. I threw up a few times after surgery. I also slept on and off mainly cause I'm so uncomfortable on my stomach and I feel the burning from the built up fluid.
I left 8 days post op. Requested wheelchair at airport, and there's a special line for people with wheelchair. Make sure you have a tip for the person pushing you, they expect it. I gave her $5. You have to wear your compression socks on the plane and for at least a few days post-op. Make sure you walk around on the plane and often. My husband had been giving me massages almost every day and got one professional but it wasn't that much difference. So I just bought 4 and will get one a week and just let my husband continue for the rest of the time.
4 months post-op: I lost a little bit of fat, my hips were 41in after surgery and now I'm 39.5in. I wish I didn't lose that volume but the places she placed the fat are so on point that I love the overall shape. And after surgery waist was 29in and now it's 26in so I'm loving that.

But in short I was absolutely amazed by the result! I didn't think I had enough fat for a big butt but Duran sucked me dry! I had never seen my abs until after the lipo and she filled my butt as much as she could and it was quite big 41", I couldn't believe it was me! I told her to give me hips since I had hip dips and she did what she could but said the lipo around my waist would already make me look like I had hips. A few months after the BBL my waist went down to 39.5".
The hip dips actually came back after some months as my body absorbed some of the fat but I didn't care, I still looked bomb! I didn't sit or lay directly on my butt for 8 MONTHS (!!!) since I was so scared of losing fat. After 8 months I thought I was safe and started sitting on my butt but not long after I actually noticed a bit of a dent on one butt cheek :''( I was quite happy with my butt most days but I still kept checking and measuring because I was still terrified my butt would shrink. I was at about 39.5" Less than a year after the BBL I decided I'd try to gain weight to see if my butt would get bigger so I ate like craaaazyy over the holiday period and I did gain weight...on my arms and thighs....but not an inch on my butt :((( And then just a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to lose some weight to get my arms and thighs a bit smaller and lost about 2 lbs so I was happy. But then....I looked at my butt one day and realized the top looked flatter than usual and overall it was smaller, so I measured it...and it was about 38.5", I lost a damn inch!!!! I am so frustrated and lost so much confidence because it feels like my butt is almost the size it was before the BBL, after all I went through! I never thought I'd consider a round 2 but now I absolutely want one as soon as I save up the money, I am thinking mid-April 2022, but my husband is super opposed and said he won't support me going again X( but I am obsessing over it and already planning on requesting a quote tomorrow and book my stay at Metropolis. Btw my stay at Princess RH on round 1 sucked!! Their food was horrible, they make the same things over and over and reuse the same oil for it all ugh. And get massages as soon as you can, the nurses at Princess didn't want to do it until Duran gave them the ok so fluid built up and when they did it, it burned like a bishhhhh!! I was seriously crying from the pain, it was almost as bad as labor!
Anyways this is just a few updates, I'll past info from my surgery below. I don't think I'll post pics since I don't want my naked pics all over the internet but I'll think about it.

I'll get there Sunday night, do all my lab tests Monday morning since it's supposed to be a lot, and surgery Tuesday. Hopefully they don't ask for a letter from the doc at the airport when you leave cause I read they do they sometime.
I'm just now starting to buy things. I have vitamin c, B12, iron supplements and will buy folic acid soon. I just bought two pairs of thigh high compression socks, Tylenol extra strength PM, slip on shoes and a chain with a lock to lock my suitcase to the bed with my laptop in it. This week I'll get Arnica gel, poise pads, antibacterial soap and hibiclens to shower with before surgery. Next week I might buy the ab boards and lipofoam.
Duran gives you the first faja but that's only for the first few days then you change into the second one which you can get with custom measurements there, they'll come to the Rh to measure you. Here's the content of my suitcase so far: 3 packs of maxi pads, bathing wipes, feminine wipes, 2 bars of antibacterial dial soap, hibiclens, Tylenol PM, Benadryl capsules and itch cooling gel, hand sanitizer, Neosporin, laxative, 2x compression stockings, 360 lipo foam with an board, lumbar board, measuring tape, baby wipes, arnicare gel, protein powder (instead of bringing Ensure), portable safe, chain with lock, extension cord, neck pillow, disinfecting wipes, muscle roller, slippers, small and big towel, organic cotton tank tops, boppy pillow for back, back scratcher. All I need is one or two more maxi dresses, my prescription meds and Tylenol extra strength. and there's a small pouch I'm wearing under my shirt to carry the money. I also need to pack a bag for the overnight stay but need to check what to bring. I didn't really end up using the massager roll.
I found a faja I want to buy, one that does not compress the hips since I'll get fat put there. bringing $1k extra just in case. My US doctor prescribed me all the post-op meds but the opioids for pain. He also gave me a letter with my test results clearing me for surgery.
1 day before heading to DR: Got the cash out, got waxed today, got the last bit of supplies and ran the last few errands. I'm super anxious right now, I can hardly believe I'm only a day away from being in the DR! I upgraded my seat on the longest leg of my return flight to a roomier one so I'll be more comfortable and I'm all checked in. Put my cash in a little tiny fanny pack that I'm gonna wear under my shirt.

But here is my update with pointers, hope it can help someone!
When you get to the Dominican Republic, something no one told me was that you have 2 forms to fill getting out of Santo Domingo's airport, I'm attaching pics. You'll need the address of the RH so have that with you. Thankfully I came across a doll who let me use her phone to look it up. Bring a pen, they don't have any even though they want you to fill those forms. Your phone service is probably not going to work, you need to add an international plan.
My driver from Princess RH didn't really speak English. He said he won't be the only one driving me, there are 2 drivers at Princess, so depending on the time of the day he might drive me or the other guy. I didn't tip him yet but remember to bring small change for tips.
Driver wasn't waiting for me with a sign so I was looking around thinking he wasn't there yet. Thankfully they have WiFi at the airport so I saw his WhatsApp message once I connected. He was waiting outside, sent me a picture of himself and description of the car. This dude was on the phone for a good 10-15 or changing songs while driving ugh. He also ran a red light but he said it's normal and driving is crazy here. The RH is about 25-30 minutes from the airport.
The nurses are nice, they gave me some warm blankets and 2 pillows and then asked if I wanted to eat so they gave me some meat with mash potatoes which was good. I have the room with 2 beds but they put me in one with 3 and said that'll change but one doll has to stay longer so I'm stuck with that room.
Got to cipla around 7am expecting a crowd in the office but there was only another girl and the one I came with. Make sure you fast for labs. Filled some forms, paid for labs ($350) and went downstairs to get blood taken and pee in a cup. Make sure you don't eat anything the morning of labs. Then saw cardiologist, pulmonologist (another $100) and had a chest X-ray. They gave me the ok to get my surgery tomorrow yay! I was done by 11am and the office was packed by the time I left.
You'll need to fill this info about the recovery house owner when you get here. I'm surprised no one tells us that. Here it is
