This was yesterday.

Just showing you how I look after a few days. There’s swelling which will hopefully go down.

Dizzy and light headed

Well I’ve survived till Saturday. Overall I’ve stayed off my butt and been using a butt pillow to avoid sitting. I lay only on my stomach and sides when I want to move around. I went to my doctors appointment on Friday and he told me I look really good. That normally women can barely walk and are basically dying and I’m not like that. He said I must have a strong pain tolerance which i already know. The only major problem I keep getting is I randomly feel light headed and super dizzy. Doctor said I should drink a coke or juice with a lot of sugar so that my blood pressure or sugar goes back up. It’s worked. The doctor also prescribed me iron which I need to go buy. I have two open wounds around my pelvic area and that’s what’s where I’m draining from. I’ve been using 2 maxi pads a day and tape to hold them down since I’m draining a lot from my front. It makes things so much better because a lot of fluid is coming out. Just make sure to not use too much tape because it’ll hurt your skin. It’s medical tape but it hurts so much because my skin is too sensitive. Ugh! I hate it. I also have an incision on my back to drain the fluid from my back but hardly anything is coming out. Just my front. The incision is between my cheeks but not in the crack. It’s just above. I’ve been wearing a diaper too just in case fluid comes out from my back. I’m also using a medical pad just as an extra precaution because I’m staying at my aunts house and I don’t want to ruin her bed sheets. I just wish I brought more diapers from the states because the ones they have here have plastic sides to tape down and they make you sweat more. The ones I brought from the states has more of a cloth like feel which is more comfortable than plastic. Also the one from the states has an elastic band so you can pull them up and down easily. The ones here are just like baby diapers so it’s hard to put back on. The massages are extremely painful. Each one is worse than the previous one because they start doing it harder each time. I have a lumpiness feeling on my stomach around my belly button. But I was told that with each massage it’ll get better. It’s reduced in size compared to how it was before the massage but that’s honestly the part that hurts the most during the massage. So far I’ve only had two massages but I have 8 more to go . Oh and right after surgery I woke up right away so I’ll include that pic here. That was before I swelled. I’m satisfied with the shape and size I got. I’m aware that I will lose about 30-40% but it’s okay it’s super big anyways. I don’t regret the surgery at all. I just wish I was home instead. I’ve been able to do everything but shower on my own. Its really hard because it hurts to bend. I hate pooping because it hurts to sit on my butt. When I pee I have a funnel that makes you pee like a guy so it helps so much and saves me the pain. I’ve gotten two fevers these past two days but all I did is I drank more water and two ibuprofen. I feel better now. My body does feel warmer than usual but I think it’s because my body is readjusting.

3rd day after surgery

I had surgery on Monday and everything went well. It is now Wednesday I’m in a lot of pain. I feel weak and light headed. I get up to walk to help my body drain out the liquid that’s coming out. My stomach feels super lumpy and it’s sort of hard. I’m worried that my stomach is gonna stay that way. I’ve been told it should come out once I get massages and I walk more. I’m also wear a faja with foam boards on my back and front. Tomorrow before I leave to my doctors appointment I’m gonna take a shower and take some pics for you ladies. I’ve also been taking meds that the doctor recommended and arnica. I feel like it does nothing for me because I’m still in pain but I’m trying to rough it out as much as I can. Tomorrow when I take a bath I’ll take pictures so you can see how I look. For now I will continue resting.
