My experience with Avana
Ok here it goes...
I was told to be there for my PreOp appt between 9-1pm. I got there about 930. Office was beautiful, clean, and easy to find. I checked in with the front desk and sat down. All the female office staff is beautiful with huge butts and tiny waists just like everyone says. I probably waited around 10 minutes before I was called back. I met with my preop coordinator and signed a thick stack of papers which I actually read. These are medical clearance forms but most of them are acknowledgement that Dr. Earle does NOT have malpractice insurance. After you sign the paperwork you then try on your faja and take before pictures. They also collect your $25 for the drug test that you will take the day of your surgery. I never met with the doctor it was never an option I guess I thought I would meet him before the day of my actual surgery but I did not. I was told I would be contacted between 5 and 6 PM and given my surgery time and the time I needed to be at the surgery center the following day. I received a phone call around 530 and was told that my surgery would be at 8 AM I need to be at the surgery center at 7 AM. And was reminded to eat nothing after midnight and given A phone number to call the next morning because I would be arriving before the building opened and I needed to call this number so someone could let me in.
Flash forward to the morning of the surgery I arrive at the surgery center at 6:51 AM and call the phone number that I was given to call because it was before opening hours so I had to call the nurse on staff to come downstairs and unlock the office door let me up. I called and an extremely attractive male nurse came downstairs and let me in immediately. I waited in the waiting room maybe 15 minutes and was called back to a pre-op room. It is a small white room with one recliner a TV rolling stool and a remote so that you can watch Netflix before surgery. The male nurse gave me a paper robe with support hose foot and hair coverings to put on along with my urine cup so that they could test my urine for drugs. After they took my urine test I waited in that preop room for an hour and a half before anyone ever came back in and told me the doctor would be with me soon. Flash forward to 930 I have now been at the surgical center for 2 1/2 hours even though my surgery was supposed to be 8 AM. The doctor comes in Marks up my body and goes over any questions that we have. He told me that he would do the best to give me the results that I wanted but I didn’t really have a ton of fat and that the max he could remove was 4 liters but he could tell me now that I didn’t have that much. As soon as he left the anesthesiologist came in and was asking general questions and then I went back to the operating room with her. She was so nice and warm and welcoming and immediately had me lie in the operating table and was telling me what she was doing. Honestly I didn’t have time to get nervous because as I was lying on the table Dr. Earle Came up to me as the anesthesiologist was putting the needle in and started to readjust the hairnet on my head gently fixing it as he was talking to me about how good he thought he could make my after results look and that was it I fell asleep!
Next thing I knew I woke up in the postop room on my back and I look over and the attractive male nurse and another female employee are hugging and I believe kissing in the corner of the room. At first I thought that wasn’t what I was actually seeing that it was just the medication so I’m not sure but I’m pretty sure that’s what I saw and then when another female nurse walked in they jolted and acted like they were looking at something on the laptop. The female nurse told me that it was time to get up and she rubbed my arm for a second and said that she would be right there as I woke up. I am mediately tried to roll over to my stomach but I’ll be honest i was in a decent amount of pain. They then put me sitting down in a wheelchair and the female nurse who woke me up tried to show me how to empty my drain but while she was doing that she accidentally unplugged the drain completely and the entire drain spilled all over my lap and I was covered in blood and fluids. So gross. They cleaned me up and I can hear on the back of the room they were calling my boyfriend to come pick me up. He picked me up and I laid on my stomach in the backseat of a four-door truck and drove to the Airbnb that was 3 miles away and I cried the whole way. He had not filled my prescriptions before I was done because the CVS that is directly in front of the surgery center had a two hour wait on prescription pick ups. I was in a decent amount of pain until he left pick up my prescription I took two of the pain medicines in about an hour later I finally was able to calm down. I slept for most of the rest of the day.
The following day I went in at 10 AM for my postop visit did not see the doctor only saw an office staff and then went for my postop massage. To me the massage didn’t hurt that bad at all I did take two pain medicines an hour before my appointment but the massage was mediocre at best. Like a 4/10. They asked me if I wanted to purchase additional massages but I didn’t because the masseuse they are to me wasn’t any good I went home and tried to call other massage places but they were all booked up so I would suggest booking before you go not when you get there. Right now I am eight days exactly postop I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I’ll be honest this recovery is a lot more in detail than I expected it to be not being able to sit down takes a toll on you you can only lay down and lean on your knees for so many hours during the day. The urge to just want to sit for 10 minutes is real. I flew home 4 days postop and used a Boppy pillow on my seat it was a two hour flight and it wasn’t that bad. I have Lipo foams backboard and ab board I wore the ab board once to me they’re just very uncomfortable. The swelling is finally starting to go down I’ve had a family member give me an hour long massage and it honestly did feel amazing and it did help with the swelling that go down a lot but I haven’t been able to find any place that can do post surgery massages near my house where I live so I’m just having family members do them for me so I’m not sure how effective they are. I wouldn’t say I’m in pain I’m just very uncomfortable it does hurt for me to bend down at the waist because my waist is still so swollen and riding in the car is no fun at all when I’m at home I do not sit on any booty pillow I only sit on my knees or lie on my stomach I only sit on a pillow in the car I don’t go back to work for another 6 days. I’m looking forward to being able to sleep on my back I keep telling myself I’m a third of the way there with all things considered I’m still happy that I got the surgery and I would do it again given the opportunity because my body does look great and I can’t wait to try on clothes it’s very tempting I will upload my eight day postop pictures I am still pretty swollen and very bruised but I can tell the end results are going to be something I’m very happy with!!

Made it to the juicy side!
Hey guys! So everything went great with my surgery I’m going to post a couple of notes but I’ll be making a much more in detail review later I’m just trying to rest as much as possible right now.
I guess this is day two I’m not in any pain I’m just very stiff and sore feeling yesterday I was extremely uncomfortable when we first got back from the surgery to our Airbnb that was because my boyfriend didn’t have the medicine ready I had to wait about an hour after I got home to have the medicine but once I took the medicine in about an hour and a half the pain is gone down by a lot.
Right now I’m just walking as much as I can being very diligent with the postop instructions so I can avoid complications at all costs I promise to get better pictures later

Making arrangements....
I made my deposit Friday Jan 4th and was told my pre-op coordinator would reach out to me later that same day to provide me a list of do’s and Sony’s in preparation for surgery along with the orders for my lab work. Heard from no one Friday, Monday still crickets, Tuesday still nothing so I decided to call the office around 2pm (this is on Tuesday Jan 8th) I spoke to Kassandra and let her know I had yet to speak with my pre-op coordinator. At 6pm I received a call from my coordinator Giannina and she asked if I had any questions. She was patient and thorough and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. She told me she would be sending me two emails one for pre-op instructions and one for my lab work but the lab work email could take up to 48hrs to receive. I Che Jed my email an hour later and already received my instructions. I put the screenshots above in case it’s helpful to anyone. I have read horror stories on the site about people having to track down their coordinators and there being no communication and I was so concerned that I was going to run into that problem but I’m happy to report that so far Avana Plastic Surgery has been wonderful!
