Have you all noticed that most of the reviews here are from patients who (on average) are about 2-3 days post-op? (when it's impossible to know your final results.) Well, that is because you are encouraged to leave a review--- and if you do so, you get a discount for an extra massage. So please beware of that.
Dr. Salama has the potential to be EXCELLENT, however, I believe he rushes through most of his procedures-- UNLESS you are an influencer. If you are an influencer, then you will get him at his best.
Twelve months post surgery, I can certainly tell he did a sloppy job on my lipo. One side of my stomach is significantly liposuctioned more / better than the other. I have seen top notch massage therapists in NY, and they all have expressed that they doubt he performed J-plasma on me -- and if he did, it was subpar -- in comparison to their other clients who had it done with other plastic surgeons.
His staff is responsive and cordial, but no one ever followed up with me one month post-op. Typically, most surgeons (or someone from their staff) do this, specially with their out of town patients. It's also really hard to see him more than once post-op. He checks up on you briefly the day after, but if you have any concerns and / or want to talk directly to him before you leave Florida (on your very last appointment,) you basically have to DEMAND that he actually comes through for you on this. And it should not be that way.
Look, I understand he is popular and a "on high demand doctor." But the big downside to that is: quantity is hurting quality. And I truly believe his attention to detail may be suffering because of that.
I would not return to him for any future procedures. I simply expect the best for the amount of $ he charges (and his four + star reviews,) but unfortunately, my experience does not reflect that.
P.S. Two of the ladies he operated on the same week as me-- and who also stayed at same recovery house as me, feel the same.

Thanks for sharing your honest experience! I hope more people do. So many of these surgeons are getting away with treating their patients like crap and take no responsibility. I'm sorry that you did go through this and his service and bed side manner was less than subpar. I wish you well and hope that you find a great surgeon that will do right by you.
I hope it helps anyone looking to go to him! And if he is reading this (or Naomi who seems to be the gatekeeper), then I hope he improves for the better. His patients deserve it.
I agree with you whole heartedly... I refrained from leaving any reviews as I'm not fully satisfied with my results and I'm 6 -7 months post op. I definitely see that influencers were handled a bit better. I too got the J-plasma and can say there is still a significant amount of loose skin. To add insult to injury for over the 11g I had to pay my body should be beyond fabulous and it's not. I got severely sick after ending up in the hospital for 8 days. Before that calling the office for guidance I was constantly told the tingling sensation in my limbs was normal. I was then diagnosed with giambra disease. Which could have paralyzed me for life had I not followed my heart and mind and went to the hospital. All along the pain was unbearable and I kept being told this is all normal. Only way I would ever go back is if he himself admitted this was not his best work and was willing to fix it for free and for the cost of the post op recovery house as well. Saved up to get this done and feels like it was all a waste. Trying not to go to. And no one has checked up on me at all. I got a email about a month ago asking for pics of my results, but still no actual call or check to see my current status!!!
I am so sorry you went through that! I can’t believe they didn’t tell you to just go to the ER to rule anything out. And they definitely should have followed up with you more than the regular patient! But they are too busy — and once you’re out their door, then that’s that. Not sure they care much, unless it’s for a pic.

I am happy I left my review. I get so annoyed seeing all these posts from women (who are so recently operated on and can’t tell final results) and leave 5 stars!

I remember getting to my massage appointment and Naomi telling me they could not give me the discount for it because I had not left a review yet. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.
Anyhow - best luck next time beautiful!
I couldn't agree more with what you said!
Similar experience?
After surgery, I wasn't feeling good at all and I kept telling them that o which the response was "that's normal, you're fine". I ally when I went in or my final check up before flying back home, he "all of a sudden" became concerned that I may have a thrombosis in my legs. But guess what? That was my last day at the house as I was supposed to be departing, so they literally dropped me to ER with my luggage and never even followed l to see if I was ok. My lipo looks botched as well as my bbl. I did not write a review as they want most of the girls to do so, literally 2 days after surgery. I would have expected a much better on for the amount of money that he charges. Also, the house we stayed in had food in the refrigerator that was spoiled and theres so much more that I can add.
Yes! I'm sorry you went through that.
They knew you were going to the ER and never bothered to follow up on that? Wow! Sorry you went through that!
His recovery house was clean and the attendants helpful enough. The food was ok — considering most doctors say you should eat healthy proteins and fat — well, they were not too organized with that either.
Dr. Salama if you’re reading this— perhaps it’s time you see less patients so you could pay attention to those you operate on without any issues! It’s unethical to be aware some of your patients do end up in the ER — for no one to follow up with them. If your team can be calling us for full payment a month prior to surgery— then you sure can follow up with us to see how we are at the end of it all!
Never followed up. Actually ended up having to pay $600 extra to ya he my flight. Robert house was very clean, however, when I stayed there, they had spoiled food In the recuperarle and one of the bathrooms broke, and took about 3 days to get that fixed. The attendants were wonderful, they all deserve to work at a better place. I agree with you, his office is on top of their A game with payment and getting the money from you buy one you paid, unfortunately, you become just another number.
I'm 3 months post ooo and not one soul from that office had called text or emailed to check on me and it's very very upsetting.... I would just appreciate one check up call but nothing and ig never seen a dr office operate in such a way ..... my leg lipo is healing super uneven. I'm not unrealistic I don't expect perfect but it's not even decent healing. I remember the Dr b4 surgery telling me: I wish I saw more progress pic from clients I never see they results once they leave here. Now I realize now one checks back in because the office doesn't ..... I'm not trashing him or the office they all are lovely people. I just think the after care check ups are so poor on there end. Really hoping they change that :)
