Earle Doll Skinny BBL 5’7” 125lbs

Scheduled my BBL with Dr Earle at Avana in Miami in August. I was worried I was too skinny but I also don’t want dramatic results. I’m 5’7” and 125lbs and after having my daughter who is now 5, I suddenly developed love handles and a flabby flat bum that I didn’t have pre-pregnancy. My biggest fear is I’m completely wasting my money but even if I just had my love handles and lower back lipo’d I think I’d be happy. I would LOVE to have a tiny waist with curves but alas, I’m built more like a coke can than a coke bottle haha! Have any very thin girls had this procedure? I know I don’t want implants. And I also don’t want to spend 3-6 months trying to get a butt in the gym only to still be disappointed with my bum size and have then lost all the fat to do the procedure. I’d like to gain 5-10 lbs right before the procedure, but no more than that.

Will do! Avana actually emailed me today saying the Dr recommends I reach 160lbs. I’m thinking, “No way am I gonna do that!” LOL so I sent them photos of my wish pics which are honestly very minimal results and asked if my expectations were unrealistic. We will see what they say. I will definitely post after photos.

My plan is to gain 10lbs max, so 135lb total weight.

Did you end up getting the procedure? What happened? They emailed me a month or so before surgery telling me I needed to gain 30 pounds to do the surgery! I nearly choked! Why tell me I'm a great candidate before I pay, and once I've paid, suddenly I'm not. I ended up having to file a claim with the BBB and spent months arguing with their refund department after they not only told me to gain 30 pounds, they then cancelled my surgery date and tried to force me to use a different surgeon on a different date. I'm curious to see what your experience has been!

Not looking for drastic results, mostly a small waist with more curves (hourglass shape) and slightly more projection without a shelf. Wanting a natural but fuller look. I’m currently 5’7 and 125lbs. Dr Earle has recommended I reach 160 which is crazy in my opinion, although he hasn’t seen my wish pics yet. I’m hoping to reach 135lbs which is a 10lb gain.

I booked with Dr Earle at Avana when he had a special for $4,000. I believe it’s went up to $4,500 now.

So the bad news is I had to cancel my procedure, no fault of Dr Earle. I love his work and I think he is an amazing doctor based on all the photos and reviews I’ve seen. The clinic, Avana, on the other hand is a shit show. I initially contacted them in June and filled out their initial paperwork and sent my full body photos. They called me and said I was an excellent candidate for BBL and convinced me to book my appt with a $500 deposit immediately to hold a spot September 3rd. In July they email me and say I need to gain 30 pounds in order to do the procedure! Wtf, that’s 30 pounds in a month and a half! I email back and say that I can gain 10 pounds in that time frame and send my wish photos. I tell them I’m not looking for dramatic results and would 10 lbs be sufficient to get the results I want. I get no response. 3 weeks goes by and I email again to say that I am trying to gain 10lbs but have gotten no response and I need to know if I should proceed as Ive already booked my flight, hotel, and requested time off. Again, no response. Then last week I get an email saying they need to change my surgery date to 2 days later. I asked why I had gotten no response to my two previous emails and they said that my assigned coordinator Shaya no longer works there. Okay...wouldn’t you assign me someone else or at least give me other contact info? Finally they called me today and tried to reschedule my surgery date and I asked why I was told I was a good candidate before paying and then after paying told I wasn’t? In my very first conversation before booking I voiced my concern about not weighing enough and they assured me I was fine. Sounds like they just wanted to get my deposit. After going back and forth they have agreed to forward me to the refund department in 20-48 hours. We’ll see what happens. Again, this has nothing to do with Dr Earle. I would use him over and over again if I could. This review is based solely on my experience with the Avana office.

Did you ever choose a different doc??
May 7, 2020
I did not. I think permanently altering your body is a very serious decision and I specifically chose Dr Earle because of the results he provides and his double board certification. I have continued to follow Avana since Dr Earle left and they have had 2-3 different doctors in and out since then. There is something wrong with the way this clinic is operating that surgeons who goes through nearly a decade of medical school and training would come and leave so quickly. In the end, I had to file a claim with the BBB and go back and forth with Avana who finally claimed they gave me a refund, when in fact they gave me back $100 and kept $400. The BBB said my next step would be to take legal action which isnt worth $400 and Avana knows that. They intentionally tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to pay that $500 and sign a contract, and once its paid, they could care less whether you are actually a good candidate or not. They will force you to change doctors, change your date weeks before the surgery (and they thrive on out of state patients which is a complete nuisance to change flights/hotels/work), and never answer your questions or concerns once that money leaves your hand. I highly do NOT recommend this clinic. I am still looking to get a BBL but am definitely taking my time in choosing the right surgeon and not just switching Dr's to save a $500 deposit. I am actually considering Dr Earle's private practice.
