I’ve always been meaning to post a review on here about my experience but recovery was not easy for me and then I completely forgot about it so I’m here now! Better late than never!
I had surgery with Dr Jugenburg in Toronto, Canada, Spring of 2015, so yes it’s been more than 4 years (almost 5) post op. I did lipo on stomach and flanks, bra rolls and arms with BBL.
I highly recommend Dr Jugenburg, he’s highly knowledgeable, skilled and very professional. From the initial consultation I knew right away I was in great hands. Him and his team are friendly. I really do believe he’s the best in Canada for BBL. Jugenburg and his team was amazing with me, I don’t know what I would have done without Kim, the head nurse, and Jessica.
His clinic is clean and professional but the best part of his clinic is his location. His clinic is connected with a hotel so when you’re done surgery you get a free overnight stay in a hotel room - only an elevator ride away from the clinic, nurses, and most importantly Jugenburg.
After the surgery I was so loopy, I barely remember anything from that day; only little snippets. I do remember being really nauseas right after surgery from the anesthesia and throwing up blood due to the tube they put down your throat... which in my opinion was the worst of the surgery. But I think I’m just really sensitive to anesthesia after that experience because my friends didn’t experience that at all. Im so grateful I was taken care of by the nurses in the clinic immediately post op. Big thank you to them. Especially Jessica. She’s an angel. A few hours after surgery they wheelchaired me up the elevator to my hotel room. I had someone else there taking care of me but I was still super loopy and leaking a lot from my lipo holes because I was throwing up constantly but my friend called the clinic and Jessica and another nurse came within minutes. They helped clean me up and changed my gauzes / bandages, and helped clean up the room as well. (I don’t remember all this too well only what my friend told me) All I remember is that Jessica was an angel and helped me sooooo much with my overnight care.
Then later in the evening before Dr Jugenburg went home, he came to check in with me, looked over everything and answered any questions my friend had. Early morning before I woke up, and before his day started Dr Jugenburg checked in on me AGAIN before I left the clinic / hotel room. We were also given Kim, the head nurse’s cell phone number if we had any concerns or questions. And let me tell you she was incredible and answered questions even at 2am concerning post op.
His bedside manner was truly amazing alongside Kim and Jessica.
I loved my results initially, it was a huge difference in comparison with my body pre op. I loved that snatched waist feeling in the first few months!
However, I do wish he had the option of Ab etching and J-Plasma when I did my surgery a couple years ago. His lipo is even and I never had any post op massages (his clinic didn’t offer them and a few years ago it was really hard to find post op massage care in Toronto). I tried a few places / masseuses but they weren’t great so I just massaged myself and I’m not totally in love with my stomach or my bra roll area. I did keep a healthy diet but haven’t been as active as i was pre surgery so I did gain weight after in places that wasn’t lipoed. I was around 155lbs before surgery and after I was around 140/145 lbs after surgery went the swelling went down 6 months later. I told him I was scared the fat would stay alive so put as much CCs in my butt as he can, and let me tell you !!!! He put in 900cc in my butt and I barely lost any of that... I kept my big booty and what most people don’t tell you is that when you gain weight later on in the years, your butt gets even bigger so post op care is the most important part of the surgery journey and I realized that too late so learn from me lol :)
Cons : Canada’s laws restrict the amount of fat that can be sucked out of you, so do not gain weight before surgery. Just don’t it’s not necessary and you’ll have a better outcome if you lose weight and tone up your body before hand. I do wish he took more fat out of me.
It’s not a con or a pro. It’s more neutral but stomach isn’t lumpy or uneven at all, but you do need to get massages ASAP after surgery; and I feel like his technique NOW with ab etching and jplasma is way better than when I did it 5 years ago which I’m kinda jealous of, so do opt for Jplasma, one of my friends did it and her stomach looks way better than mine.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I haven’t taken any pictures in my journey but I’ll try to upload a few throughout the years. From before until now.

Oh! I was researching his work ! I loves it too ! I hope you get the result you're looking for ! I love the ab- catching technique however I cant afford it lol .. I finally booked with dr. Fisher in Miami. The only thing is I'm worried if I dont have enough fat . I somewhat have an athletic built. Even though I'm 5'6 177lbs I dont exactly look it , however I'm seen women and his page with a slim figure -and he was still able to work magic . We shall see how it turns out . I'm sure you'll look great though , once you come out of Garcia's office !!!!

I haven’t been on RS in a while sorry for my late reply to you girls! If you girls for your surgeries done then I hope all your surgeries went well and you girls are looking snatched!
Little update on my round two journey:
I’ll be going to Hector Garcia for round 2: BBL revision, ab etching, 360 lipo with Vaser, I’ll post my journey with him once I have my date secured and booked, hoping within the next 8 months, preferably before 2023. I’ll be looking for a surgery sis from Toronto if possible to travel together once I have everything planned!

4 years post
5 years later...
Fast forward almost 5 years later and after weight gain of 15lbs over 5 years, this is what I ended up with. 5’2 female 170lbs
First year was great but then after you can see my stomach isn’t completely flat, my bra rolls are still there and yes my shape is better than before and I look curvy in clothes but I need a round 2.
Jugenburg didn’t do a 360Lipo and only touched my flanks, abdomen, bra rolls, and arms with a BBL. but I guess if you’re doing a skinny BBL that’s fine but someone who’s a little heavier the results aren’t that up to par but that’s mainly because of the amount of fat you’re legally allowed to remove in Canada is 5 litres. So the skinnier and more toned you are, the better your results. I thought I had to gain weight for the surgery and that was my mistake and I was misinformed back then. Also now I can see my left and right cheeks are not symmetrical and I do not like the shape because it sticks out too much, it’s not flattering for a short girl like myself.
Now it’s time to do a revision; and I’m looking to do a round 2 to snatch my body and smooth out my imperfections in Colombia. I wish I went overseas for my round 1 for half of what I spent and better results. My friend got her body done in Colombia 4 years ago and she’s still snatched so round 2 here I come... soon. :)

Surgery was April 2015. The review‘s procedure date isn’t correct, and I don’t know how to edit it.
I’m 4 and 1/2 years post op.

Hey there! Just saw your comment and wanted to let you know the date has been edited!

Thanks, so helpful! Can you make a recommendation of someone good on Columbia? I don’t even know where to start with that!

Hey girl, sorry for the late reply! Honestly everyone is different in regards to what you’re looking for but Instagram surgeon results pages are the best options to see real results from real people, and some surgeons are on here as well. But I decided to go with Dr Hector Garcia for myself in the near future, one of the main reasons he’s my number one choice is because he’s certified by the Colombian Board of Plastic Surgeons AND American Board Certified as well
Just do your own research based on the what you want and what you’re looking for. Every top surgeon is great but some work better for others, and some are more consistent with their work. it’s just your preference :)

I see where you’re coming from, he could’ve done a better job. There is definitely a difference though. That’s how I feel about my j plasma.

Definately there’s a difference but as you look at my back, my rolls are still there and I know surgery isn’t a magic pill to lose weight but from my point of view, with almost 15 grand spent, and he only gave me a bigger ass... i rather have my entire body snatched with it like how they do it in Colombia
Also where did you get your JPlasma and what are your feelings towards it? Doing JPlasma in my second round 100%

If you’re still on a journey to get a surgery let me know! Covid travel restrictions messed my plans up for round two but I’m planning on going to Colombia within the next 8 months :)
I can’t talk from personal experience from Miami doctors but a lot of Miami doctors have botched patients and deaths in the surgery community. I rather go to Columbia it’s a lot safer and they true artists. Two girls through mutual friends came came back from Columbia from two seperate surgeons but they look insta model hot. So jealous and it was only their round 1.
Whatever you end up deciding - just do lots of research and make sure whoever you go to is board certified. Hopefully that answers your questions lol also there’s instagram surgery communities that helps a lot with questions and decisions too!
