I found Dr. Gomez on Instagram about a year ago and thought I would check him out. I was drawn in by dream doll’s review of him, so I reached out to him. I sent messages to his what’s app for MONTHS with no reply. After much persistence his assistant, Yaritza finally sent me a quote for $6,000 for a bbl and 360 lipo. I book my date for mid October and they agreed. I paid my flight and prepared to head to Columbia, and I kid you not, TWO DAYS before I was scheduled to leave, they reached out to me saying the doctor will be out of town and that I had to reschedule for December 3rd!!! I was so upset. I had no other choice but to take that date because already paid IN FULL and they will not refund me any of my money if I cancel. Fast forward to December 3rd. I arrive in Columbia, I am told a car service from Dr. Gomez’s recovery house would pick me up— the car is 4 hours late! 4 hours!!! I get to the recovery house and there is nothing but bugs and poor WiFi among other things! This environment was not what he was advertising online but whatever. I met with Dr. Gomez the next day and before he could even evaluate me, he said that my $6,000 quote is now $8,000 because “my fat will be harder to get out”. I’m like ok, fine, whatever I’ll pay since I’m already here. I get my bloodwork done and an ekg which was an additional $1200. My medications totaled $625 and my stay at the recovery house was $2,000. He purposely told me that I needed to stay longer (25 days to be exact) just to get more money. I’m so disappointed at this point. The day of surgery finally comes, I’m in so much pain, I complain to the nurse and she say that they do have a pain pump but it’s an additional $700. I have no choice, but to give them the money. The nurses do not work 24-hours and NO ONE speaks English. If you want a 24-hour nurse —which you will need to check your vitals and make sure you are okay throughout your recovery— it’s another $2,500!! This is not what I expected!
