Feeling a lot better on Day 5

Day 5: I can finally walk around the house normally and actually get things done without being short of breath.

It seems obvious, but the ease of recovery is correlated to how much fat you have taken out. I had a full 5L taken out and feel like I almost died.

Seriously - it was worse than recovering from childbirth. I have a fairly high pain tolerance and did natural birth, no epidural twice. This lipo recovery was worse - I couldn't stand up without feeling like I was going to pass out for three days. I think it's my body's way of telling me taking out this much fat, or having this much trauma or general anesthesia, was too aggressive. I should have split it into two procedures rather than trying to get it all done at once!

I appreciate how Dr. Sieber checks in with me every morning and responds to my questions via text.

Aesthetically, so far my results look good. I notice that one hip looks higher than the other, but not sure whether that's due to swelling or what.

I am getting or giving myself lymphatic massages every day, because nobody wants fibrosis! I am also wearing this ridiculous foam vest which looks like a bulletproof vest because it's so thick. It is way too warm for september, and I can't believe I have to wear it for a month.

Don’t Get Arms and Stomach Done on the Same Day!

Had my lipo with fat transfer two days ago. The recovery was a LOT harder than I thought. I had read reviews where people were able to get out of bed and walk around the day after, whereas I couldn’t stand for more than a minute while feeling lightheaded and dizzy. I literally couldn’t hold my head up while standing or sitting in a chair. Only on today, day 2, I’ve been able to get out of bed and take shuffling steps around the house for 5 mins at a time. Everything is super sore and hurts a ton. My heartbeat goes into overdrive and I get lightheaded. PSA: don’t get arms and stomach lipo done at the same time! I figured out the hard way that you need either stomach or arms to get out of bed or basically reposition yourself anywhere. Since they were both worked on, I have no way of moving myself without excruciating pain. Really hope things are better tomorrow. Also, if I could do it again, I would not get fat transferred to both breast and butt at the same time. I have been super stressed out finding positions that don’t put pressure on either area. The inflatable avocado float has a hole that is too big, my butt falls through and smooshes against the floor. And sleeping on my side squishes the fat added at the side, which I need for a better shape. No good options!
