7 weeks

A lot of swelling has gone down, first time trying on clothes so I added pics. My butt is bigger but still square, when I tighten it, it looks good so I’m hoping when I get back in gym, I can fix it a little. I’m not unhappy with it tho, still looks better than before. My waist is tiny, do you hear me! Tiny!! Curves for days!
Some things to note:
Do not buy a curvy gyals faja. “Custom made” my a**. I recommend just ordering another one from elite office, they will 2 day fedex and you are already used to that one, it’s well made. I did have the legs hemmed up to be shorts locally since it’s getting hot.
I did NOT need all of those supplies. Save your money and don’t go all out. Lanyard to hold drains up in shower, alcohol pads, neosporin, xtra strength Tylenol, qtips, wash cloths, slide sandals, antibacterial soap (hibiclens), basic toiletries, gauze, medical tape, female urinal (Amazon), boppy pillow, tank tops for under faja, a lymphatic drainage helper, a RECLINER of some sort, and night gowns or maxi dresses. That’s pretty much all I used. You are like whatever for the first two weeks, that the basics is all you will need, I didn’t even wash my hair for two weeks. And with both procedures at this office and the drains.. I didn’t leak but a little, so no chux pads or shower curtain for bed, maybe just a towel the first day or two on bed. No extra garment or extra socks none of that needed. I barely used robe or socks. They give you like 6 different prescriptions.. stool softener, nausea patch for night before surgery, nausea meds, antibiotics and pain reliever, muscle relaxers, and blood thinner syringe to bring with you for them to administer on surgery day. They even send you home with micropore tape for scar treatment. I bought bio oil to keep at home and use.
Still no complications. The middle of my Tt incision took a little longer to heal bc it is stressed the most in movement but it’s fine now. Also, even when you get your sutures removed by office, in a couple more weeks.. your scarbs won’t fall off because they are hanging on by sutures still , or if one of your lipo holes feels tender , a suture needs to be removed still.. at least this is what happened with me. My mom used a clean cuticle cutter and removed them for me and they are fine now. I have had 2 massages a week since being home, I’m on my 8th and everything feels hard as h*ll for awhile, but over the weeks it will get better and soften up and you will start to feel normal again in your surgery areas. I’ll update again if I have more info to share. I had chin lipo too and it was lumpy and I was worried for awhile but it went away also and it’s smooth and looks great!

3 Weeks Post Op Udate

I am obsessed with how everything is turning out. Dr. Salama did an amazing job! So glad I did this for myself. I know my last update was kind of random so I will talk more here about the experience.
Dr. Salamas office was beautiful and clean! Everyone I encountered while I was there was extremely nice.. offered me drinks all the time, blankets, patient with me, accommodating to say the least every time I was in office. I did a lot of research before choosing doctors and some things that stood out about his office compared to reviews of others was that it was NOT like a meat shop. The waiting room was not full of girls, there were at most 4 of us in the waiting room at one time, when I was there. I never had to wait long for my appts either, massages, follow ups etc. I also liked how they mailed my prescriptions to me prior to me coming down so I could fill them ahead of time and be ready, a lot of doctors seem to give them out the day of and then you have to deal with that or these shady recovery houses making you wait for them.
Pre-op day 1- Met with Nomi , basically general info and Q&A and received surgery time.
Surgery day 2- Met with Nomi again, then anesthesiologist, signed paperwork, changed into paper gown, taken back to dr salamas office. I was there for a few hours doing all this before surgery actually started but it flew by and they had Netflix in every room at your disposal. I was not nervous at all but it may seem long to someone who was but it’s general surgery prep. Finally met Dr Salama :) he was very nice. He was to the point but talked to me politely and gave me good information and took the time to answer any questions I had. He came to do a job and he did it. Was he overly excited to be in my presence, you know his 3000th surgery patient? No, but I didn’t expect a party like it seems some people do out of these doctors because they chose them to be their surgeon.
After he “marked me up”, I waited a little bit longer and to the table I went.
Later that day, I woke up... and boy did it hit me. I felt like crap hahahaha never want to go through that again. So glad all that is behind me. Again, I suggest doing the bbl and tummy tuck separately!!!! Anytime I tried to lay anyway, it hurt like my insides were being ripped out and my back burnedddddd so bad from the back lipo after laying on it for hours an then having to peel myself off the chair, it felt like someone was peeling the skin right off my back. It was rough and the last thing I was worried about was sitting on my butt, so I did... a lot throughout recovery. Did that mess up my results? It may have but ill never know. I think my butt looks good, it’s a little bigger than before. I will give it the full healing time to decide if I’ll go for round 2 of only a bbl surgery. My tummy tuck looks fabulous though. I don’t even think I looked this good and curvy even when I was in shape and skinny! Anyhow, back to story.... woke up from anesthesia......
I left back to hotel with gauze and such on incision and drains in, 2 in front and 1 in butt. They don’t put faja on this day, if I remember correctly, I was pretty messed up lol
Post op appt day 3- returned to office, still out of it! Thank goodness for my driver, Alexis. They removed gauze on incision and put me in loose faja, a quick check up and sent me out. Thank goodness it was quick because I felt like crap and didn’t want to be there.
Day 4- return to office for first massage! Take two pain pills (good ones) about 40 mins before this appt. it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but it’s still pretty intense. Deep breaths ladies! Lots of drainage, lots! It feels good to get it out! Assessed my faja to see if I needed a tighter one, kept me in the one I was in.
Day 7- another in office massage. Still lots of drainage. Not as intense, feels good in a weird way. She changed my faja, this one was TIGHT! It was so tight that I worried for a few days. I in fact put my looser one on to sleep because I was scared I’d stop breathing while sleeping with the tighter one. After a few days though, the swelling goes down and it felt fine.
Day 9- return to office for my discharge appt (I was leaving next day). This is the day you finally start to feel much better with the Tt/bbl surgery. They tried to take drains out but still draining too much, taught me how to do it at a later date (my mom helped day 13 after surgery and it wasn’t bad). Removed sutures from lipo holes. Some other instructions and paperwork to fly etc.
I flew out next day. Any advice for flying home would be to get the wheelchair assistance (it’s free) and first class, it was worth it!
This will probably be my last update since I don’t think anyone actually reads my post, unless something significant happens. All n all my experience with this office and Dr Salama was great and I’d definitely return to him for future surgeries. I have had no complications so far either. Thank you guys!

Post-op - WORST RECOVERY BBL/TT

So I went for my surgery this past Wednesday 3/31 and I have been in recovery since. I just want to say this has been the worst thing I’ve ever had to go through in my life. The pain was unbearable and I could not get comfortable the first night until I finally paid $200 for some company to deliver a recliner to my hotel recommended by my nurse. I am so thankful for that recliner. One thing when you’re searching for a place to stay down here for the surgery I suggest you ask about the bed firmness because if it is super worn out and thin or squishy it will be the worst time. I have the booty beanbag inflatable but didn’t buy the proper inflation tool so I couldn’t get it blown up nor could I find beads for the booty bean bag filling but I believe both of them would’ve been too low to the floor to use during this time anyway however I will use them at home when my muscles in my stomach get better to crouch down onto them.
I am on the end of recovery day four and I am feeling much better than day one but it’s still a long road ahead. to anyone reading this I would highly suggest you have the surgeries separate. So far I’ve only gotten the one picture due to my nurse taking it because I’ve been so out of it. I will post that picture and say from what I can tell the doctor did a fabulous job on my body no doubt about that . This message was done with talk to text so sorry if it sounds crazy I will post more of an update when I start to feel better in a week or so with more pictures included.
