BBL Scheduled with Doctor Salama for April 2018!

Tomorrow will be exactly 1 week post op and the day I go home and leave the recovery house. So far I have had two post op consultations with Dr. Salama and two Lymphatic Drainage massages with Celia (She is AWESOME). Everyone always warns you to take your pain meds before your massage, so make sure you do! It's definitely painful and is designed to release excess fluid and smooth out any irregularities from lipo. You skin is really sensitive and for me, my skin is still numb to touch so the massage was actually a relief to really have someone get in there and help with swelling. I had a lot of fluid that filled up in my drains the first massage and the second. They removed my back drain on the 6th day post op, but the front drain still had a lot of drainage, so they were nice enough to schedule a third massage for me Friday morning, so I can get more drainage out of if it before they determined if it can be removed before I leave. Otherwise, I will probably need to take it out on my own when I get home. Overall this experience has been better than I expected (I really didn't know what to expect). My results are amazing! Thank God I took those before pics because they really put into perspective how dramatic of I change my body had made already. I have a waist and a somewhat flat tummy! Lets start with that miracle. I have had excessive and stubborn belly fat all my life and that is now almost flat. I'm excited, cause I know its going to get even better as the swelling goes down. So far I can say Dr. Salama and his staff have exceeded my expectations.

My sx was first thing in the morning. I started off with a pregnancy test then wore my surgery gown, paper underwear and cap. First the anesthesiologist came in an asked some questions. Then Dr. Salama came in to do the same. It was my first time meeting him in person. He was friendly and professional. He tells it to you like it is but listens to what you want at the same time. He told me im really more of a tummy tuck patient...so he may leave some fat in case i do a tummy tuck later. I begged him to suck out as much fat as possible lol. He asked what shape I wanted and he suggested a heart shape. I said i wanted a small shelf and projection and that i wanted a natural sized booty.

The consult lasted like 30 minutes..then i was led into the actual surgical room for anesthesia. I was out cold within minutes. Next thing i know im awake...and shivering...then i feel a catheter being pulled out of me and nurses are lifting me into a wheelchair and rolling me out to Fabian the driver. How i got back to the recovery house is a blur lol.

When i got back Janine was there and helped a lot with my bandages because I was leaking a lot. Im glad i stayed in the recovery house cause I would have been freaked out by the “blood”...but Janine reassured me that its not all blood and it’s normal. Irene started her shift later that day and had delicious soup and crackers ready and lots of gatorade. I immediately took my pain meds and felt pretty good. I would describe the pain as major soreness...like you got into a car accident and you are sore.

I was sore yesterday and today...but i am staying hydrated and Bobbie has been really attentive.

Here are before and afters...I’m still very swollen...so the doctor assured me my waist will get smaller. I asked for a not too big booty and I think he did a great job. I was concerned it would shrink and he reassured me that even after it initially shrinks it will fluff back up. So I can’t wit too see what i end up with.

Hi ladies! The time is almost here. I arrived in Florida this morning. The driver Fabian picked me up from the airport on time. Very professional. We went to the office and i did all my paperwork and met with Nomie. She is so nice. She even picked up my percocets from Walmart. Im in the recovery house now waiting and chilling. I took a nap, Janine made me a fresh panini. The staff has been really friendly. Im actually looking forward to surgery tomorrow. I saw a lady come into the office post op and she looked so good but she was in a lot of pain. Im praying recovery is smooth. Not looking forward to the plane ride home though. If anyone is reading this...pray for me!
