Stage 2 is here!!
WORTH IT
My healing is right on schedule. The swelling and bruising is all but gone. I’m loving the results — and looking fwd to getting compressed in my new Stage 2 faja. Including some pics in the Stage 2 faja on, as well as what it looks like with a dress on top of it.

Heyyy - I felt inspired to quickly throw on a dress before jumping in the shower to share my progress. I am 15 Days Post Op today — and feeling good!! I continue to say each day is better than the last. I feel that much of the swelling has gone down, and some of the bruising has begun to fade (woo hooo!!).
I am about 12 lbs lighter than when I got home post surgery. It’s all water weight loss. I credit my diligent water intake, plus pineapple and watermelon.
I’m very pleased with the progress so far, and look forward to jumping into Stage 2 faja in about a week. I went down a size in my Stage 1 faja (from 2XL to XL)!

You look absolutely amazing
Thank you :)
Wow, you look amazing. All that progress in 2 weeks! Are you still sore and how much help do you need now to get around? What is most challenging for you at this point?
Thank you… I’m really happy with the progress, each day is better than the last.
I am somewhat sore - primarily in my torso. My sides and lower back hurt the most. I think I had a pretty aggressive Lipo so I’m not surprised.
At this point, i can get around done for the most part. I can’t pick up small things off the floor yet. The bending down is a bit painful. I’m also very cautious about bumping into things. I stay away from trying to lift anything heavy.
Using the bathroom (#2) is a pain — just cuz you gotta get naked all the way… lol… although, I’ve gotten quite good at putting it back on with all the foam and stuff. It’s just an inconvenience! I do look forward to a daily shower like never before.

Post Op Days 3-4
Feeling a bit better than Day 2. Sleeping on my stomach makes my face swollen when I wake up — not quite a look I was going for! I’m looking forward to going #2. Hope the prescribed Docusate (stool softener) will start working soon!!! I keep taking all my meds - the Percocet is giving me a headache, so I started to alternate with Extra Strength Tylenol, which helps to get rid of the headaches. The doctor’s office said that’s fine as long as I don’t take Percocet and Tylenol at the same time.
I continue to drinking lots of liquids. For the past two days, I drained about 400cc a day. Not sure if that’s good or bad. I drain less when I’m laying down and I try to walk around as much as I can.
I stepped on the scale to get a sense whether the water weight is going down and it looks like I dropped 5 lbs in water weight since I got home from the surgery.
I’m sharing a few pics from Day 3. Still very swollen and have lots of foam and padding underneath. I’m very much looking fwd to seeing my body once I take off the garment.

Do you know how much fat he was able to take out and how much of it he put back in you? I see my PCP on 6.11.21 for blood work and hopefully clearance letter. I had my physical in April and there were no significant issues so I hope she gives me the green light so that I can schedule my surgery date. I also hear the girls on you tube talk about measuring their progress. I follow "dolls in training", she is extremely informative, so much so she created the BBL Encyclopedia which she sell for $129.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, luv. I’m sure you’ll get it if you know you don’t have any pressing health issues. In Dr. Schulman’s words, “I’ll take out as much as I can safely do”, which I believe he did. He also put in enough to give me a roundness and projection for my booty and rounded out my hips to get rid of the hip dips. I’ll ask about the exact amount when I go for my post op on Thursday! I haven’t quite measured myself yet, although, I plan on starting later this week. I only took off my garment to use the bathroom and felt a bit faint, which I was forewarned I would, so I put it back on ASAP. You will need help putting the faja back on!!!! At least at this stage. The worst part of the recovery is not being able to do things for yourself. Ugh!
I'm praying that he will be able to fill in my hip dips which I hate and give me some projection but I guess it will all depend on how much fat he is able to get out of me. Did you take iron supplements prior to surgery and what supplies did you get that are the most helpful. I hope your commute to his office is not too long. I'm in the Bronx and it took me almost an hour to get to his office. I guess you will be laying down cause I don't think you can use the bbl pillow yet. Is the pain getting better and when do you stop the pain meds. I wonder why he doesn't recommend lymphatic drainage massages until after 2 weeks when everyone else starts the day after surgery. Hope you continue to feel better and can't wait to hear about your post op visit.
Hello Luv, No reason to think that he couldn’t transfer the fat as long as he can get it out. I know multiple factors going into how much fat can be transferred even if he can get it out — including skin elasticity, which is different for everyone. I do have to say each day is just a little better. WooHoo!!! I stopped taking the Percocet because it started to give me insane migraines, which I’m prone to. I take Extra Strength Tylenol now a few times a day, which seems to suffice. I’m still achy quite a bit (mostly on my torso front and back). I want that damn drain out - but watch me have to keep it in for longer given my luck!!!! I did bruise but no surprise there - it’s not cute. I’ve been taking Arnica orally and directly on the skin. Not sure if it makes a difference.
I did take a week and a half off from work - and I’m fortunate to work from home for the time being. I don’t expect to return to the office till after the summer. That’s also the reason I jumped at the open slot. I had about 3 weeks to get everything done for the surgery. So I really didn’t take any supplements before hand. (My blood work was fine), but I did obsessively started to watch all BBL YouTube videos to learn from others’ experiences. My Amazon packages were coming daily! I couldn’t live without my body pillow. Helps me sleep comfortably on. My stomach. I cover it in Chux, and change them daily. My urinal is my 2nd favorite thing. Makes peeing a breeze. My #3 thing is the pineapple juice from Trader Joe’s (100% juice - not from concentrate) and the IV Hydration powder mix. Makes drinking water less of a chore — and we know how important hydration. Is during the recovery!
I’ll post an update after my post op! Enjoy getting ready - don’t overthink it.

Hi, hope your recovery is going well and you are loving your results. You are almost 3 weeks post op, have you gone for your post op and second stage faja yet? When did he take out the drain, how was it? Are your using the bbl pillow yet?
My doctor gave me clearance but I still can't set a date because Dr. Schulman is waiting for one my test results to come back, then hopefully I will be able to set a surgery date. Hoping that September 30th is still available.
