Doing awesome

It's been about a month since I had my procedure and everything's great. Swelling subsided to about 10% swelling. Most of my resolvable stitches have dissolved. I am back to my usual activities except for working out. I just feel tenderness in lipo areas, especially my lower back and my inner thighs. Dr. Balza is still in communication with me and regularly checks up on me. Nobody can tell I've had a procedure done because the differences are subtle. My butt is not as big as it was of course when I just had the procedure, but now it's at a perfect shape just as I hoped for. It wasn't a size I was looking for it was shape which I have now. I think this is the size that will stay because my swelling is practically gone. I still don't sit on my bottom all the way and use a gel foam pad to sit on with my thighs. I also don't sleep on
my back just on my sides and mostly my belly still.

I am attaching my before picture and after pictures for just the front and side.

Back to 90% of usual activities

Tomorrow will be two weeks since my surgery. I've been doing really well. Still some swelling but not bad. I'm pretty much back to doing things I usually do minus working out every morning. My bruises are almost all gone. My lower back right above my butt is hard and swollen. I'm able to soften some of hard lumps by massaging the area gently, that seems to help. I've had a couple massages as well from a professional. Lymphatic drainage massages definitely help. They didn't hurt, as a matter of fact it it feels good getting A lymphatic drainage massage. This type of massage shouldn't hurt at all. Because light pressure should be used; just movement of liquid under the skin towards your lymph nodes so it shouldn't hurt at all.

My butt has gone down in size a bit but I know that is expected because of the swelling. It is still, however, retaining it's nice rounded shape. Dr. Balza managed to put in 350 cc's per butt cheek so it's not much. She said I didn't have much fat in my body although she got fat in every little area that she could.

As for my thigh lift, it's looking awesome already even with all the swelling there. My incisions are healing beautifully and haven't had any problems with my incisions. They're very well-placed and hidden in my groin area. Haven't had any problems opening as with most groin incisions. I just make sure it's clean it all the time by spraying it with antiseptic spray and smearing Medihoney on it.

Here are a couple pictures of my groin incisions. It's healing nicely at 13 days post sx. I will post more pictures of my results when you can actually see it. With all the swelling being as little as I am the pictures don't do it justice.

Beautiful weekend so staying outside

Today is a beautiful day so I decided to spend my day outside relaxing. My family & I are going to hang out outside by our pool, watch movies, and BBQ today while I lay out and relax, enjoy the fresh air and get some sun. I've been in the house this whole week since the surgery so it's a Great change of scenery. I'm not taking any more pain pills. I get up and walk around whenever I can. I have been moving my bowels regularly every day the past three days so happy about that. My only limitations are the incisions on my groin. I'm very careful with them not trying to walk large strides but by shuffling my steps. It would probably be awesome if I could just sit in a floaty in the pool but my worry is the chlorine in the water going to my incisions, so scratch that. That would've been very nice for my booty to just float around in the pool. Once my incisions are at least closed, however, I will definitely be spending a lot more time in the pool with my new booty.

Dr Balza communicated with me very well throughout the whole consultation process leading LLC the way up to today which is my surgery day. She is sweet, very approachable, and very easy to talk to. I just had surgery this morning and I just got out of the recovery room about an hour ago. I was nervous going in to the operating room but I don't remember anything as soon as Dr. Vanessa the anesthesiologist told me she was going to give me some "tequila" in my IV to keep me calm so she could put in the epidural. But I don't even remember her putting in the epidural which is great, Because I know how much epidurals usually hurt going in initially, but I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Vanessa was awesome that anesthesiologist. Dr. Balza's hospital staff are all so awesome; they were all sweet and made me feel comfortable even though I was a nervous wreck coming here. I just ode an Uber to he boarder be took a $5 taxi from the border to the hospital. I will add photos once I get a chance. But for now, this is my current photo. I have a catheter for my urine and I have no drains, which is awesome.
