BBL and mini thigh lift with Dr. Balza

Today was my surgery date. Dr. Balza has been so sweet and listened all my requests while she gave me her recommendations. I just got out of the recovery room two hours ago so I'm still not sure about the results but I feel really good I am not feeling any pain but that's because the anesthesiologist, Dr. Vanessa, says it the morphine she gave me will last about 48 hours so I won't start feeling pain until after that time, if any. CER hospital is very impressive. It looks very ultramodern clean and new and the staff, although they just speak Spanish and no English, they've been as patient with me as the iamb with them with the language barrier. Having the iPhone with Siri helps me translate if I need to say something.
I actually just did Uber to the border and hopped into a $5 taxi in Mexico. I got here to the hospital on time at 7 AM checked in. they right away did my EKG and blood work. Soon after that the doctor Dr. Balza came in to talk to me at length then drew me up. This is the first I've seen her in person but we have communicated back-and-forth via emails text and phone call. She's very responsive and if she's in the middle of surgery or busy, her assistant will get back to you right away. I wasn't then taken to the OR room and had an epidural put in. I don't even remember that! that was the last thing I remembered and I woke up three hours later in the recovery room. Now I'm just here in my room by myself. My husband could not come with me, nor did I want him to anyway, because I needed him to stay home with our two toddlers. My package included one night stay in the hospital so I'm feeling up to going home tomorrow really. I will probably just get back on the way I got here. They offer a ride service but it's four times more than taxi and Uber. I don't have much to show him some pictures because I am not wrapped in a bandage and frankly I'm just enjoying this quiet time by myself which I never get being at home with two little toddlers. I will definitely post before and after's when I get home tomorrow so I can grab those before pictures and have my husband shoot the after pictures.

I slept pretty good last night except I did wake up early because I went to bed pretty early. Didn't ask for any pain medications until I got up in the morning. My catheter was just taken out. That was an uncomfortable feeling but very tolerable. Dr. Balza performed liposuction on my flank, waistline, my arms, and my inner thighs. She then remove some of the loose skin on my inner thighs and gave me dissolvable sutures for the incisions. She didn't need to do anything on my belly because I had a tummy tuck three years ago and it pretty much left me with no fat on my belly. I'm actually glad about that because I don't have any pain at all on my front side. I slept on my belly the whole night but while awake, I was told by the on-call physician in the hospital that it was fine laying on your back while laying on the bed. I also woke up in the recovery room laying on my back which all my procedures were performed. I always read from everyone here on RS not to lay on your bum at all in the first few weeks. So ladies, tell me your experience on the matter. I'm actually going home today and not sure if I want to take a cab again then Uber to the house from the US border like I did yesterday. I have no drains so I don't have to worry about that. My problem however is walking down that long bridge to get to the US border. It's a pretty long walk and my thigh incisions might open up so I have to think about that. The doctor will see me in about an hour and will most likely be discharging me by noon today so we'll see how I feel as that is a few hours from now. I will provide an update before I go home today and out this hospital.

I'm home now and still feeling pretty good I don't want to take any pain medications because it just feels like I worked out really hard at the gym and very sore from it. I have massive bruises on my arms where it was lipoed and a little bit on my flanks. I haven't really seen my butt without bandages yet but it feels pretty good in size. I also know that I'm just swollen all over right now so pictures won't really do me justice at this point. I don't want a huge butt, I just wanted a more feminine shape by sculpting and removing fat above and below my bum and my waist smaller. I have to wait and see for the results for now. Dr. Balza came to see me this morning to make sure that I took a shower, changed all my dressings, and provided me discharge instructions and medications. She had her driver drive me all the way home because she agreed it wasn't a good idea for me to walk down the long bridge at the border. Marco was the driver she used from Beauty Enhance and it cost me $60 one way. I say it's worth it because he has a medical pass which lets you go right to the front of the long line of cars trying to get through the border.
Soon as I got home, Dr. Balza already checked on me to make sure I made it home OK and checked to make sure I don't have anymore questions and to keep her posted on my healing progress. I really appreciated that. Dr. Balza is very calming reassuring. asand a soon as I met her that first time, she makes you feel At ease. She gave me her personal cell number so it's really easy to just quickly text her if I have any concerns or any questions, which is really awesome.
I also have to give myself heparin shots for the next five days once a day. I just did one shot and it burned like crazy. Is it supposed to burn like that? I shot it on my thigh. Maybe I just need to find a better spot like the back of my arm but it's a little sensitive from my post suction so I'll have to just grin and Bear it because it helps to avoid blood clots, which are very dangerous and deadly. So I will take the pain for its benefits.
I'm here at home now just laying on my belly and trying to get comfortable.
