Hey guys, so I had surgery yesterday 8/30. Originally I was scheduled for 6/25 but my date was moved twice. But let me tell you Dr T and his OR team are just amazing. I arrived at around 7:45am for pre op. The anesthesiologist, surgical tech and nurse all were ready to answer any questions I had. His OR nurse (I forgot her name )is the sweetest lady ever. Dr.T held my hand as we walked into OR and while I was getting anesthesia which I thought was very sweet of him. They all made me feel so comfortable.

That's so reassuring and nice of them to do! I work in the health field and having ANY surgery can be scary, so it's nice they were able to provide emotional support you needed! This makes me feel good for when I have my procedure!

They're all so nice. In recovery the nurse sat with me making sure I was warm and telling me how great I looked. You will definitely be in great hands.

Today I was able to take off my faja all by myself, used the bathroom and took a much needed shower. It felt great. My arms hurt from sleeping on them. I purchased an avocado pool float so I can give my stomach a rest and lay on my back. It really helps.

I bet that shower was life!!!! Lol
I'm nervous about taking off/on the faja!!! It seems like a real struggle!
Awww, I bet your arms were!
Where did you purchase the pool float from? Does your hips fit in it okay without compressing them? I was going to get the antigravity chair to use and cut a whole out so I can "sit"

Yes! Showering is life lol. The first time I had to take off my faja was the real struggle but now I've been doing it all by myself. Of course it takes me some time pulling it over my butt but it's not painful. I purchased the float on amazon. The hole is wide enough for my hips I use the boppy pillow and regular pillows to make sure my butt doesn't touch he floor. I use it a few time a day to give my stomach a rest.

Thy faja is no joke!!! Lol
I hope you're feeling a little better today!
I might have to get the BBL mattress I found bc the hole is 22" wide and I don't think the float will be big enough. But we'll see.
Are you using any abdominal boards?
