BBL after TT - my consultation went extremely well

WORTH IT
It’s been a year since my bbl. I couldn’t be happier. My clothes fit well and since I didn’t have a completely flat butt when I started I pretty much wear most of my old clothes. The only difference is they fit better. Mostly a smaller waist.I still have some scars but that is because my skin holds on to scars for many years. Dr. Lui and his staff were wonderful!!! Honestly, even though I love my results, I’m not sure I would do it again. It didn’t solve all my problems and I would not be running half naked on a beach. As long as you have realistic expectations then Dr. Lui will deliver. He also did FaceTite for me and I had really good results. I tried Kybella first at a different place and it was a waste of money. Go for FaceTite with Lipo. It’s much better.

Things are going really well. I really love my shape but I’m not going to lie, I’m worried that I will lose my butt. I love my results even though it is only slight projection. Dr. wants me to stay in my stage 1 garment for 6 weeks. My massage therapist thinks I need a stage 2. Everything I’m reading recommends switching out of Stage 1 in 10 days to 3 weeks. It’s the most confusing thing. I went ahead and bought a stage 2, but I don’t plan on wearing it yet. I might wear at 3 weeks. It looks really good and feels way more comfortable than my stage 1. The biggest problem I’m having is lack of compression. I bought wraps for my thighs because they were getting a little bumpy and my thighs are the most painful part of this whole process. Compressing my thighs is something I must do. I’ve had about 4 massages so far. They are absolutely necessary. I’ve pre-booked about 6 more. My new Stage 2 faja has better thigh compression. I’m happy but like I said I’m super worried my butt is going to reduce. I honestly can’t imagine getting smaller than I already am but everyone says my waist will get smaller and it will make my butt look bigger. Then there is the whole fluff fairy, idk if that is even real. Still sleeping on my tummy, which sucks, but I’m getting used to it. I drove today using the bbl pillow and couch pillow behind my back. It felt ok, and didn’t touch my butt at all. I still don’t sit at all at home. At work (remote) I stand pretty much all day, walk, and lean over my bed for a break. No regrets this far.

Day 2 & 3 Post op

Things are progressing well. I actually haven’t leaked at all. Taking oxy about every 8 hrs and Tylenol in between. I took Tylenol pm last night. I’m walking around a lot. No pain. Still drink tons of water and Arnica tea. My post op with Dr. Lui is tomorrow. Funny thing happened the night before. I had to take an oxy at 5 am. I woke up and took it then went back to sleep. Then I looked at my clock again and it said 7:30 am. I jumped out of bed in a panic, and yelled to my husband, “we missed my surgery appointment, oh no, why didn’t they call me. ‘ There was sheer panic and confusion in my eyes. My husband turned to me and yell “You already had your surgery!!” Immediately my body was in instant pain. Oh my God. My husband could not understand how I jumped out of bed, serious adrenaline. The most difficult thing is laying down and getting up. That was nuts, all we could was laugh. Oxy can make you crazy.
Today I started my period.
PO Day 3,
Went to see Dr. Liu for my post op. Everything went well. He said Im healing great and I can start massages if I feel I can tolerate them (i have a 30 min one for tomorrow) I had a bowl movement twice today, so that was great. I saw myself for the first time in the mirror. Wowza, am I big. I think I will look forward to the swelling to go down. I’m surprised he was able to graft so much. He said 700cc each side, butt and hips. It definitely looks big and round. I took some photos but I am very swollen and bruised. I just got out of the shower. I’ll post again in a couple weeks., next time I’ll take measurements. Or I’ll add it in if I remember. So far I a please with Dr. Liu. He is so kind and really wants to give you what you want while being realistic. He doesn’t do thinks like the Mami surgeons. No day of massages or leaking all over. Honestly the who thing has been very tolerable and he makes you feel very safe.

Thank you for all the updates.
I really helps with the process of choosing a doctor and also imagine how the recovery would look.
I was really considering Miami because the results I’ve seen from local doctors haven’t been the greatest. I am looking for something natural looking and thanks to your review I will consider scheduling a consultation with Dr. Lui!
