I am new to RealSelf but not new to cosmetic surgery. I had a breast augmentation in 2014. Steven Bresnick was my doctor. He did an amazing job. He worked out of his Encino CA office. I would be happy to share pics and that experience if anyone is interested. However, today I will be discussing my experience in searching for a BBL doctor. I used the site The American Board of Plastic Surgery to find experienced and accredited surgeons. After searching through each surgeons website and before/ after pics I found that there was only one surgeon that really stood out to me and that was and still is Dr. Amy T Bandy. Amy is a female plastic surgeon in Newport Beach CA. I contacted Amy’s office and requested to get more information on the cost and procedure. After sending in my bare pictures and discussing what I would like done I was quoted $14,775. This price would cover liposuction of the abdomen, waist flanks, bra area, upper back and fat transfer to the buttocks. The price at first seemed higher than what I would have expected. However after talking with a surgeon In Valencia CA I realized the prices were around the same. I contacted Amy’s office once again because she was my first choice and this time I scheduled a virtual consultation with Amy herself. The consultation was just yesterday ( September 9 2020 ). Amy was sweet and personable. I payed a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit and booked surgery with her on September 16 2020. I have a phone appointment with her today, a COVID 19 test Friday in her office and lab work next week. We are moving pretty quickly with the process but this is only because I am sure she’s my doctor, I only have this month available and I have been wanting this surgery for many years. I think by now I should mention that I am a 30 year old female and that I have given birth before. After birth I was left with a pouch of fat in my lower abdomen. I am hoping Amy can flatten out my abdomen as much as possible and give me that contour define waist and cute butt. One last thing I would like to mention is that I have loved my body at every stage and I am not using this surgery as a way to find happiness as I am already happy. That being said though I cannot wait for a change. Will be fun to swap my one piece bathing suits for two piece bikinis. Will keep everyone updated as I go. Wish me luck :).
