One Week Post Op Appt.
I had my post op appt on Thurs the 8th, I was 15 minutes late to my scheduled time because of the drive from San Diego to BH. When I did get their my mom just dropped me off in front because she didn't want to pay for parking lol and then she drove to get food somewhere. In the car I was laying down in the back seat with my feet folded up. I took a percocet before i left so that I would be comfortable and be able to make it the whole way without really standing like I'm suppose to be but it was only one day so i should be fine. I got out of the car and felt extremely dizzy and out of it. Went up stair and saw that they changed their office to the 4th floor so i went their next. I was 15 minutes late but they are so nice that they didn't make me feel guilty about it since they know that i am coming from a longer distance. The first the receptionist asked is "how are you feeling?" told her i was dizzy and she offered me some water. Really nice. Immediately was seen by Dr. Dass. He asked about the pain and how i was feeling and wether i needed more medication or not. He made sure i was healing okay, have been wearing the garment, and haven't collected any fluid that would need to be drained. After that exam he handed me new foam paddings that are much softer and comfortable than the ones initially provided. He then hands me the second stage garment and insures me that it is much harder to get into and should be worn 24/7 after the 2nd week. Everything is pretty much straightforward, simple, and quick. I told him thank you for my new body and that I loved my results because i do and thats it. I scheduled my next post op appointment for the 6th week. The receptionist (which i don't know her name so sorry! :( supper rude of me) was really sweet and that was it. I was literally there for about 15-20 minutes and left back home. We had subway (the $5 Italian B.M.T they promote on Thurs. which is bomb), stopped at Ikea because they have great bathrooms lol and then hit the road. Was home by 9 or something like that and called it a day.
ONE WEEK, & counting
Felling better every day. Got up late, made a large pot of beans + Mexican rice!!! Finally a warm cooked meal lol!!!! Some swelling has gone down like in my uterus area but my back and other areas are still swollen. My entire back is basically numb. The front of my stomach is not healed yet and my sides tingle. I was getting worried about having so much fluid down in my uterus so I'm glad that it is gone. Because it felt like i was a kangaroo with jello inside my pouch! I took a percocet this morning and felt reeeaaalllllllyyyyy annoyed. I tried to get up to do stuff but the freaken percocet makes you so drowsy and not able to function!!! At first i was like cool i have some percocet to feel good but then I'm like wait this does not feel good it makes you feel suppressed like slower breathing, and slow eye movement and not in the good way. But i still need something for the pain right when i wake up and have been laying on the areas for hours so i guess from now on i will take tylonel strength or something that won't have me feeling like I'm in a coma lmfao!!! Ugh i cannot wait for life to go back to normal going to the gym.. school... (well school can actually waiT) .... work... movies.. mall uuhggg can't waitttt to do fun things again
