Mom of Twins Finally Getting my Body Back - Brantford, ON

Well it's been a while just got back from Mexico and so glad I did this I felt so much more comfortable then before and even tanned my belly my front on the old scar looks so light that it actually looks like a tan line you can't even tell it's a scar and the sides have faded a bit but it's only been a few months so I'm sure it will fade more yet just takes time I'll post pics soon

Well I forgot how bad swelling was and only made it a day and a half at work before going home. But I am feeling better the last two days the swelling has gone down a fair bit the photos I'll post are of the swelling it went all the way to my front lol it's the first time my belly hasn't been flat it was a strange feeling for sure and I was getting a strange burning sensation in my back when I would get out of my bus seat and begin to walk but it seems to be going away to . I had my second post op visit and he cut the ends of my stitches so the rest will dissolve so I'm on the road to recovery now

Well I have to say the surgery was not as easy to recover from as the last one I was very nauseous and had to throw up a few times had a really bad headache from the anesthesia and was not feeling well. Though my pain is not nearly as bad as the tummy tuck it's still not comfortable and very swollen and bruised and I don't bruise easy so it hurts. I also had issues with the nurses in the postop room this time didn't have that problem last time but this time they seem to want to kick me out as soon as they possibly could and my PS doesn't like to let his patients go until about 6 o'clock at night but they were trying to talk him into letting me go at about 4 o'clock I finally told my surgeon that I would feel better at home resting in my recliner and that it was okay to let me go and then had to wait for my son to come and pick me up well the nurse was whisking me upstairs to see if my son was there yet she spun me around and made me very nauseated and the headache came back my son was not there yet as he was at his girlfriends house which is about 20 minutes away so she took me back downstairs until he got there then took me back upstairs complaining the whole time about how he should've been there five minutes after I called she was just being nasty and there was no need for it so once I got to the track I told her to shut up and go back in the hospital and leave me alone I will have to have a chat with my PS about that she was nasty
