I went dark there for a bit, and was needing to be reminded that I promised myself I would post updates my entire first year PO. My revisions will not happen for at least 2+ months.

You look amazing! I've been wanting to do one but have been looking at going to Denver. Now I'm contemplating looking in Bozo!

Thank you for your kind words! I too was considering going out of state, I am so thankful I didn't! Where do you live?

You look so great! Up to this point, are you happy you did this? My kids will be 13,10,6 and 4 when I have my surgery and I worry about them being able to handle Mama being down for so long. Also, completely unrelated but, what brand undies are you wearing in this pic? They look comfy.

CONT. what your patient wants you to know...

6. Many of us have planned/saved for this a very long time. We may act a little neurotic....please forgive us. ????
7.Write down and review before surgery our main concerns and parts of our procedure that are important to us. (i.e.-it was very important to me for my scar line to be straight, rather than a more French cut look)
8. Most of us know you are not magicians. ???? Please be very upfront with us about the reality of our expectations. Don't just tell us what we want to hear before we stroke the check. Do not minimize to us the potentially "unsightly" parts of our procedures. To us "that almost never happens", sounds like "It won't happen to you".
9. Do not underestimate how very vulnerable it feels to us to hand over our bodies and trust your artistry. Leave us in an aesthetic position you would want your mom, wife, or daughter left in.
10. Check on us after surgery. It means more than you can imagine.
11. Make sure we have in writing every silly little step of our aftercare. We honestly can't remember all verbal instruction. ???? We feel silly calling your office over every little thing.

I have so many questions! I don't even know where to start! Ha! Thanks for going before me! And allowing me to ask you questions! I will be following you for sure. First round of questions...did you buy your compression garment or did they supply one? How has it been wearing it? Drains! How long did you have yours in??
February 3, 2017
You will leave the day of surgery with one that he provides, along with a compression bra. I am about five weeks out and I still need/feel more comfortable in my compression garment. I had ordered several different expensive compression undergarments, and ended up sending everything back except for one. I still have yet to wear it though.

Hi! I just called the office for your number and they were so confused and not sure they should give it to me. Haha! Which I can appreciate. But now I'm not sure how to get in contact with you??? I suppose I can message you with questions as they come up...? How are you doing these days btw???
