4 week story so far pic

1 week until I have my first appointment with surgeon. Hope I can get signed off to start driving again.

Well after 2 cesarians and 15 year old droopy implants I thought it was time for a Mummy Makeover (which is quite a unused description in England).
I made my mind up that it was time for a change when I lost both my parents within 18months. Trying to make myself feel better I dug into my inherence and booked the procedure on Jan 6th one day after my tooth veneers were done ????
I went with a very positive attitude that having both together wouldn't be a problem as I've spent the last 8 months in chronic pain with a torn nerve in my back, so said to the nurse who looked at me like I was mad ' how hard can it be'!
On the day I saw the surgeon who was very reassuring but brief but the fist thing he said was oh so you haven't changed your mind then??. I met the guy who was putting me to sleep and strongly told him I don't want to wake up in pain so he had his orders.
It's worth saying that skipping breakfast was the best thing I ever did because I was bumped up the list so I was first in that day, no hanging around.
When I woke up I was panicking a bit because I could hardly breath but this is common apparently.
They wouldn't give me anymore pain relief until bedtime apart from paracetamol, so no good stuff which got really annoying. I started being sick 3 times felt really bad but I think it's because he gave me so much morphine before I woke it made me Ill.
That night going to the loo was a nightmare with only one nurse on duty but I did it eventually. I was prepared for the constipation so I drunk gallons of water, ordered high fibre food on the menu and took laxatives when I got home so no problems there.
Because I had back problems for so long I had a great aliby with the kids. When I got home things were hard emotionally for weeks and still are 4 weeks PO. Not going out to gym and driving and getting back to normal are making me depressed but I'm getting there feeling happier now.
Pretty pleased with the results so far but there's a long way to go yet.
