Paradoxical Masseter Hypertrophy Corrected. Caused and Corrected with Botox.

I had a terrible experience with Botox in March of 2019 last year from another provider that left me with a paradoxical bulge in my jaw where I had Botox injected. My provider at the time and my dentist didn’t know how to fix it. My face looked deformed 9 months later so I went to Elise, who works at ACENT and she tried to calm it with 15 more units of Botox, when that didn’t work, we spoke with her co-worker MD Ellerbe and after some research did retrograde injections (start deep and pull up as it’s injected so it hits all layers) in the same area with another 15 units two weeks after the first injections. This seems to have done the trick as the bulge was coming from the top layers overcompensating. I am very happy with my results and wish I would’ve had it corrected sooner.
