30% Relief from Chronic Pain After First Treatment
I had neck tension day and night.
I did competitive sports and also taught. That means I was repeating the same movements over and over to show the kids in my class how to do it.
I would get remedial massage. An hour massage was not really doing it the therapist would go really hard and I couldn’t really feel it as my muscles were so knotted. It was unmanageable.
After the Botox had settled (1 week-10 days) I went to the remedial massage therapist and we were able to get to the underlying muscles and treat the problem. I also did some personal training to strengthen other muscles.
I had 3-4 Botox treatments over 18 months I would say. By the end, the tension in my neck (and back overall) was pretty much non-existent. 100% gone. It is amazing. we can transform our bodies. This treatment was also a stepping stone to really improving my posture and getting rid of that bulky sports look some female athletes have.
I wish I acknowledged this was an issue sooner. I can’t believe I existed with that level of pain. I had 30% relief from chronic pain. That started four days after the first treatment.
After each treatment, I had some slight balance issues. I suggest the week after the treatment does stop and get your posture right before you lift something heavy as your balance might be off a bit too.
