How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Brilliant Experience, Now Repeat Client.
Have had the treatment twice now, and have no intention of stopping.
I went to Silk Laser Clinic at Norlunga, Adelaide AU.
The customer service was so good, the staff were all so so friendly. I felt so comfortable, even as a shy and nervous person.
The clinic is very clean, very professional-looking, organized.
Booked a free consult initially and then after a conversation about how the treatment worked, how long it would take, after-care, cost, etc, I was able to have the first procedure done then and there. Which took me back a bit, as I had less time to think about having it, but then decided "f**k it".
The botox (not actually called Botox, called "muscle-relaxant injections") I had was a prescription medication, which I had no idea about. So she took a quick medical history and then sent this through to their on-call doctor who we both then had a video call with. The doctor was very friendly, and basically just re-asked the same questions as the nurse before sending through the script.
The nurse (all of the cosmetic injectors with Silk Laser Clinics are registered nurses as far as I know) asked me to make some facial movements like flaring my nose, smiling, and pursing my lips while making marks with a white eye-liner looking pencil.
The procedure is very quick. For me, I had six injections with the one syringe. Two either side of my nose and then four along my top lip. The first two jabs are painless as the needle is so sharp, but the last couple do make my eyes water but it's a very quick process and not unbearable.
The initial consult and the procedure,
I started to notice a difference about 3 days when my upper lip could not hold water as well when swishing water after brushing. I found it quite funny. But that is the only real "side effect" that I had.
I experienced no swelling, no bruising at all. Just a couple of tiny tiny scabs at the injection site for the rest of the day after treatment but naturally fell off overnight.
As it was my first treatment, I had a two week follow up to make sure there were no issues and I was encouraged to make an appointment before that if I had any concerns.
The before and after photos are two weeks apart after my first treatment.
It does slowly "fade" over time, the upper lip-curling does come back the fastest but this is just the nature of the product.
I have now had two treatments, with another to follow soon. No plan on stopping. If I remember right, the cost each time for me is $95, even though they advertise their Botox injections starting from $99.
A great experience, with great results.
