Botched breast augmentation. He made them too big

Botched breast augmentation

Hi I decided to share my story of how I got botched by dr Don revis jr in Fort Lauderdale.
I'm a tiny 5'0 99 pound 23 year old girl. I was a small 32c cup/sometimes 34b cup. I went in for a consultation for a breast augmentation by dr Don revis jr. I thought he was nice and so was his team at first. I told him I wanted a tiny boob job and didn't want anything big, just some cleavage and a lift. He told me 450 cc would be best for what I'm looking for. I didn't know much about boob job cc but when he showed me the implant I said no that's way too big. He then showed me the 400 cc and I said yeah this is still too heavy. He never offered to give me a sizer bra to try on other sizes. He then said 385 would be best. When I recommended 300cc he said I wouldn't get the high profile I was looking for and it would make my boobs like too far apart. I kept asking him even during surgery day if he was sure it wouldn't look too big? And he kept insisting it would be perfect. I found out about the sizers the day of the surgery. And when I brought it up in the hospital he said it's too late we don't have any sizers at the hospital so we'd have to cancel ur surgery if you want to get the sizers. When I woke up I was told the surgeon went home. He didn't check on me or call me afterwards either. He's good at answering his emails but when I complained about how big they were he started threatening me saying if I ever ur the word botch he will not fix my surgery. I was very clear on what I wanted and he insisted 385 would be perfect. But when I woke up they were so heavy I couldn't even move. I was so clear about wanting tiny boobs and showed him pictures but he made my boobs so huge that it's bigger than my face and butt. He said if I wanted to fix it I'd have to pay another 10,700$ jut like I did before for a whole new surgery. And if I wanted the implant taken out I'd have to pay 5,500+ 1,300 for the anesthesia fee. Im so hurt please do not go to this doctor, he has botched me and now I have to wait six months to find another doctor to fix it.I attached my before boobs and after

Hi, I cannot speak to your doctor, but I can say they will be very swollen, high and tight for the first few months. Once the selling g goes down, and they drop, you will see a full cup size smaller. I took measurements throughout and they were a full inch larger at the top. I had 400cc and went from a 34B to a 34D or 36c depending on shape of bra. Give it a full 6months before decision to change, and know you will go through a roller coaster of emotions about them.

I agree. Time may find that you like them!

When you say botched, are your breasts uneven or asymmetrical? If they are just too big for your liking, then they are not botched. Your breasts will feel so much bigger for the first 3 months, then they'll settle. Any doctor should know that anything above 400cc is a large implant, 300cc is medium and anything below 300cc is small. He should've gone with 200-300cc. But give it 6 months. By then you may love them. Most doctors charge more for revision if it's just for size or non-complications reasons.

Exactly! When I think botched, I think asymmetrical, or rippling. This isn't botched in the slightest. Just miscommunication.

Honestly, if you knew about bra sizers beforehand & that he didn't do this with you, IN ADDITION to you feeling like you weren't being "heard", you probably should've chosen another doctor especially for this kind of money. The most important thing is you getting what you're paying for & if he didn't make you feel comfortable with your choice/preference, go elsewhere. Now I will agree with some of the other comments here about giving your implants time to "drop & fluff" over the next couple of months. You're not used to seeing yourself like that for one so I'm sure that's part of a shock & these pics look like you're really swollen still. Use your bio-oil for the stretch marks and follow your aftercare plan. I haven't had my surgery yet but pretty much 100% of people I've met or vlog's I've seen all say the earliest sign of normalcy your implants will look like is about 4 weeks. Nonetheless, good luck & feel better! Give it time & don't let this stress you, it won't be good for your healing process.

I'm sorry your surgeon did not listen to the size that you wanted but he didn't "botch" your surgery. They look great and he suggested a size he thought would give you the look you desired. You had every right to see another surgeon. I just had mine done 5 days go and I only had 235cc and I will tell you that they feel exactly the way yours feel. Give it some time and let them heal before you go around accusing someone of malpractice

He did do Malpractice since he put in what he thought was right even though I told him I didn't want to look huge. The doctor is supposed to put in what the customer asks for not what he wants.

If you read the Facebook page with people's horror stories botched by him, there are people that have died because of his surgeries. The families were posting all about it, so if my case isn't bad you should go read theirs.

Oh my goodness, I am sooo sorry you're having such a bad experience. Eff that surgeon and find you somebody that will give you want you want. Don't let them choose for you. It's not their body that is walking around with the product. Good luck with future surgeries. Please keep us all updated on your progress and final results.

Thank u so much. I'm currently looking for another boob doctor to take the implants out because im too traumatized for a boob job as of now. Surgeons keep telling me they can't perform for another 6 months and I should wait it out, but I can't fit into any of my clothes and am totally humiliated to be seen outside or even go to work.

Can't really tell from that picture, usually takes 6 weeks for implants swelling to settle then up to 6 months for them to fully Drop and Fluff. Wait and see.

It's been 4 weeks now and it's still very intense. I have an appointment with another doctor to remove them next week.
December 29, 2021
Good luck, hope you get the results you want

Your new boobs look WAY better than your natural. I can't believe you're even labeling this as botched in the slightest. The sad part is you're not trolling. You really are gonna waste money to remove them and they will look so much worse after you remove them. I highly doubt you're a paid model. Your body looks like a 12 year old boy's body. Good luck in life, hopefully you won't wrongfully accuse people of doing bad when you're the one with bad communication problems with the surgeon. You're depressed over the surgeon giving you nice perky boobs? Girl bye lol

As so many other have already pointed out: it takes about 6 months for the final results to be visible. Please give it more than a few weeks and please don't take any risks in removing them before they have healed up properly. You're gambling with your health by removing them too soon.

The size will diminish as they settle down, that's 100% assured.

Although I do agree they look better than they did pompombunny65 but there is no reason to be mean. Your natural looks very saggy so I'm guessing that's why your surgeon needs a bigger implant so you didn't need a lift as well. I think they look good give it time

Did he not offer you a uplift?

The new doctor?no. Dr don revis jrs former boob job caused so much inflammation and also I didn't need a lift cuz it had only been 3 weeks.

Oh wow! Hopefully your recovery goes smoothly, praying for a swift recovery.

Doctors don't cause inflammation, everyone's body is different. Some people don't react well to a foreign body and it can cause a contracture, or someone may have an underlying issue they aren't aware of (lupus, or another auto-immune disease) or it can be diet related (people eating crappy food, food that they don't realize they have a slight allergy to, or not getting enough nutrients) all of that can cause inflammation. It also takes AT LEAST 3-6 months for swelling to go down. ALL boobs look big and full right after surgery, your body has undertaken a major surgery and has to heal, it means eating right and being healthy and getting the nutrients required as well as practicing mindfulness, stress increases cortisol which also causes inflammation. Personally, it sounds like you made a decision you weren't ready for, and are now placing blame on a Doctor instead of owning up to your own failures and inability to say no and be patient. I think your review are really unfair, petty, and lack accountability. If you don't feel comfortable with something you make it known, you also have to be patient and let your body heal.

I agree with this comment. She didn’t do her homework on CC size and having inflammation is just a personal issue.

Great comment. I'm glad I'm not in a line of work where someone can attempt to ruin my reputation because they didn't research and take time to understand what they were doing.

How long did you have your implants in before they were removed?
